Lasagna and tears of failure likes this

Pretty simple. I will do each conference (separately). I will tell you things I like (BLUE) and things I don’t like (RED) about your team. Let’s start with the Eastern Conference. Here we go!
New York Knicks
I like how Skillz put on an absolute masterclass yesterday. 6 trades! That’s maybe more than some of our fellow GMs that have been here from the start!
I don’t like Skillz having the itch to trade again. I mean, yes, it's good...but this is a really strong team! And believe me, I've seen him lose great teams before because of his trade disease. As we know, this team Skillz has right now won't look the same. I'm pretty dang confident in saying that.
Edit: Sorry, Skillz. I thought you had AK still on your team.
Miami Heat
I really liked the Billups trade. Manas did poorly here, but at least got good value for the Mashburn part. kobe has been winning a ton of his trades which has set him up well. Billups still has +10 remaining, and I’m incredibly intrigued to see how much better he will get. He’s doing 21/6/6/2 with under 2 turnovers per game He’s very good.
I didn’t like the Zo deal, but I’m also probably nitpicking here. People thought he should’ve gotten more, but even as good a player as Alonzo Mourning is…he is 32 years old. People aren’t willing to give up their studs that are in the prime of their careers. I think getting Randolph was solid. Not exceptional value and below market for a guy like Zo…so that’s my rationale there.
Boston Celtics
I like that the Mike Bibby pick paid off, and Lasagna and tears of failure kept him. I was pretty keen on him, and I think it’s good to see patience being rewarded here. Bibby went from 12/7/1.5 and 3 turnovers per game to 21/8/2 and under 2 turnovers per game. He is 24 years old and still has an AC left. Very good point guard.
I don’t like Rasheed Wallace. Never had. He just is an overrated piece that is hard to win big with. At least his turnovers are significantly down from year 1, but he’s not that efficient shooting the ball. Just kind of turns me off.
New Jersey Nets
I like that greeme didn’t trade Ben Wallace just for his pick back. Yeah, he could’ve went down that route, but he wanted to make sure he got true value for his guy. I think the deal was fine. Okur and Joe Johnson was a solid return…tough to trade Ben at age 28, but Greeme has a title in his back pocket now.
I didn’t like the MJ trade. But who else did? Jay Williams looks terrible right now. He’s only got +5 left so unless he has a big TC, it’s looking pretty bleak. He also got the Nuggets 05 in the deal so that will obviously dictate who wins this trade, but I don’t know. Don’t think this was Greeme’s best work.
Washington Wizards
I like their collection of wings. Peja, Redd, and RJ. An interesting group. It’s a shame, though, because Jefferson might not shoot for volume. He should be a good bench piece. I do worry about the defensive capabilities of those wings.
I don’t like their collection of bigs. At least they snagged Haslem, but none of these guys block shots. Very concerning to me if I was jahallstar .
Philadelphia 76ers
I like Yao Ming…a lot. What he is doing in year 1 without any camps is just sensational. I will no doubt +8 his blocks. After that, who knows! DD is great but come on fellas!!!
I don’t like how many games I was winning early on…but Jamison was in his bag. I’m hoping we start to lose a ton. Either way, no big deal.
Orlando Magic
I like the current plan taking place if they go that route full fledged. Yes, they fucked up early on. No kidding! footy needs to take over. However, this could actually turn into a blessing in disguise! If they land a top 4 pick…Kobe and whoever that may be…that will be one dangerous combo. Plus, FA!
I didn’t like the Eddie Griffin deal…like so many others didn’t. Why would they do this…and I kid you not, then want a big right after trading the good one that they had under team control!? Mind blowing stuff. Just tells you breakthewalls is out of his league. Just going in absolute circles.
Cleveland Cavaliers
I like this dang team and 2 years left . These guys are the favorites to me. That starting lineup is exceptional. Let me get to KG…yeah, he hasn’t turned into the offensive juggernaut we thought he would be, but his defensive game is incredible. When you are walking into 5 STOCKS per night, you are a monster.
I don’t like that 3 key players are coming off their contracts…I get it, quite a few players around the league are, but I would be uneasy going in with that and not having my picks for that year. All you can do is offer the max and hope for the best.
Indiana Pacers
I like VC and the Griffin deal. Vince Carter is incredible. He does nearly everything well except take care of the ball. He still has +10 left. Easily gotta AC those handles. the original michael got lucky he was dealing with a rook and he was able to take Griffin from the Magic. This kid is gunna be a nice defensive piece for a long time. Shard was redundant once you have Maggette and VC in the fold.
In saying all of that, I don’t like Maggette. He’s an inefficient scorer who doesn’t provide much defense. He’s an elite rebounder and doesn’t turn it over (things we all like)…but I don’t know. He’s not my type of player. I’m most likely nitpicking here.
Detroit Pistons
I like some of pieces who are solid but obviously not superstars. Spree does good things. Monty can come off the bench. NVE obviously can put the ball in the basket. If I’m Galo , I start to put a block up and see what it brings him. Galo is in a really interesting yet tough spot.
I don’t like C-Webb. He is that type of dude who is all stats, but not a winner. Svedda had issues with him, and you are seeing it with Galo here. Pistons should be way better, and I think you have to consider C-Webb the problem. He’s not a strong rebounder, and he turns it over way too much. He is completely camped so this is what you will get from here on out for the most part. Maybe he is just not a winning player, or is this a reflection on the GM?
Chicago Bulls
I like Marcus Camby. He is so damn good. He does pretty much everything you ask for in a big. Blocks shots, get a steal, rebound well, and doesn’t turn it over. I think there’s a reason Play has been cool with keeping him on the roster as a building block.
I don’t like the Avery deal. He just sucks. Like it’s hard to really convince me otherwise.
Toronto Raptors
I like Tony Parker and Nene. Both can be really good building blocks for Game. Parker is already a stud and costing GAME some GAMES. Nene is going to be awesome.
I don’t like Jason Richardson. He will score, yes…but he will most likely be a lousy defender who can’t shoot the 3 ball. I also probably don’t like Game’s chances of improving his guys via ACs. I don’t think he’ll write many articles to help that cause.
Atlanta Hawks
I like Steve Francis! +8 those handles and I think he’d be okay!
I don’t like Losanglife chances of improving guys such as Sammy D, Francis, S Jax, etc. Posts count is low and more importantly, I do not think you are going to get articles out of him. He has some talent, but those inabilities will really hamper him. This is a situation where we are looking at him getting CY’d unless a miracle happens.
Milwaukee Bucks
I like Arvydas! He could be really good once chipper camps him. Boozer has looked good BUT…
I don’t like Chip taking him over DD. You can’t go off past experiences. You gotta evaluate and really look at the notes. I think Boozer will be fine, but man…DD is most likely the ROY and might lead BBS in scoring!? Crazy.
New Orleans Hornets
I like Caron Butler. He will be nice. I would’ve taken him over Boozer. I also like how committed Von is to this tank. I think he will finish with the worst record and guarantee himself a top 4 selection which is absolutely critical.
I don’t like Bonzi still being on the roster. Get rid of him already!
Enjoy!
Western Conference later today!
