Hello league! we are in the midst of the playoffs and I wanted to get one more RT out before I leave for vacation. A draftee's career might depend on it!
In this RT we have Sargo, John, RC and Game!
1. Playoffs are live - who takes the title
RC- Give me the wolves. Giannis is too much to handle with the squad HF put around him. Can't believe they "tanked" for a season lol
Sargo- Probably the Knicks. They are stacked and up 2-1 now over the Hornets. Cavs are always scary too. The Suns should come out of the West and can easily knock off one of those teams.
John- Rockets. Feel like this has to be their year. Probably the last year they can keep the gang together unless ahsan gets real creative. It would help their chances if the Nuggets pulled the upset.
Game- I’m gonna be honest as a tanking team, I have no idea and don’t care aslong as the TC can happen ;~)...but I do hope Essen doesn’t win cuz it’s fun to troll him as the fallen legend.
We got a mixed bag of answers here! I am going to go with the Rockets last Hoorah
2. Do you think this draft is better then last?
RC- I haven't looked too terribly closely at it to be honest. If all goes well, I will be trading my pick for win now talent rather than using it.
Sargo-Yes. 100%. Wiseman, Ball, Edwards are all #1 type candidates in my opinion. The rest of the lottery seems deep. Last year was just Zion and everyone else looked MEH. Crap draft and shallow lottery last year.
John-I do...I think it is a little deeper, there are a few guys in the 4-8 range that could be potential studs vs the last draft all I really saw in this range were possible solid starters.
Game- Oh I love this draft cuz Spencer’s homerism has brought us a young KAJ names Wiseman and it seems like Spencer is doing fun things getting ready for fake drafts.Last years draft was ass except for Jaxson Hayes PF 19 7'0'' 223 B D+ D+ B- B+ A.
This draft is looking up! I think Zion is the best player int he two draft but this one looks DEEP!
3. Where would Cade Cunningham go in this draft?
RC-How much Cade would a would chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck case? Who is Cade Cunningham?? His name is wonderfully alliterative
Sargo-Good question... probably 1st. I love Cade’s game. Hope Spencer makes him elite!!! He’s a huge PG who can score at all three levels.
John-2nd most likely...I don't see him supplanting a big man in Wiseman as first overall. Maybe depends on how he is made too. Does be come in with a huge advantage as a PG rebounder?? Maybe he would go first then
Game- Cade would prob go like 2-4 range no one is picking a Pg over a Warriors current player.
I'd take Cade 1! Should be a superstar
4. Would you be concerned with Lamelo lack of 3 pointer? How would you camp
RC- think you're relying on potential with him and then he's probably going to be looking better in a balanced offense long term. I would camp him in all the shooting stuff assuming he doesn't have horrible handles. Inside scoring, jump shot, 3P
Sargo-I would be, but it should develop. +8 jump shot +8 3 point +8 handles is the only way. And I would camp that before TC and pray to the FBB gods. LaMelo should be a stud.
John-No if he has potential it should improve naturally enough on its own. Handling is more of an issue to me as if he's 4-5 out of the gate it will be an obstacle to overcome. His camping is easy...+8 handles +8 Jumpshot +8 3PT
Game- Yeah I’m a little concerned as we’d never had an inside Pg besides Ben Simmons and he’s ass ..I’d def just do handles/Inside/jumpshot and hope TC fixes the outside.

5. A lot of big trades lately- who won the jazz raptors deal? Warriors Mavs? Kings Bulls?
RC-I'll focus in on Jazz Raptors specifically... I think there's a situation where you have a genuine win win. JR got an absolute haul of assets and Braz got to pair Embiid with Zion. You can really see why both trams wanted to pull the trigger on that
Sargo-Raps won. I love Barrett for obvious reasons (Knicks fan), but he looks awful here. Other than that, what else did he get? The 11th pick? Ah.
Lumely look Beastly out back. Getting Drummond for a pick and Ingram is a huge win.
The Butler deal was solid for both.
John-
Raptors- Embiid is an elite big and only 25. Raps kept a lotto pick too (how?) highway robbery
Warriors- I'm not even sure he gave away anything of value or upside for Drummond...makes total sense for lums. I'm not sure it made any sense for zedrich.
Kings - porter looks like a boom prospect and the Bulls get their 2022 1st back. I understand them doing it and it wasn't a bad deal but Butler is a great player and I'll always side with the team getting the best player.
Game-The only winner in any of these trades is Lums ..he just got Derozan and soon he’ll hoist a BBs title and prove all the haters wrong !!!!Lums you came up from the bottom and now your here !!!!
6. Who is your fav Gm to trade with and why
RC-Obvious answer but my sim papa Skillz! We are boys IRL so it is very easy to cut through the shit. There is a hilarious amount of text/PM threads between us over the years
Sargo-Habes (rip) and Skillz. They both know what they want and don’t bullshit and go back and forth with the “yah let’s do it “ then “ahhh idkkkkkk”
John-Pacers - sargo seems to be the only one I can get a deal done with !!
Game- My Fav Gm to trade with is Skills because he either gives you a great offer or a shit one so you always know if a deals gonna happen or not.

RC-Winning. Not even close. I hate tanking but it's an unfortunate necessity when you suck at this thing as much as I do. Checking winning box scores are WAY more fun than checking tanking box scores.
Sargo-Rebuilding is more fun for sure. I just hate writing articles right now and articles are essential to rebuilding successfully. Tempted to do one last rebuild but Idk.
John-Winning obv...tanking is boring as fuck...my team was wet dog shit this year
Game-OMG TANKING IS SO BORING AND IM PROBS GONNA GET CYD AGAIN BUT I WANT NUCE THINGS TOO!!!!I tried to tank and collected all this youth but TC is the only saving grace for the whole year and there’s nothing else to look forward too ...oh yeah and lotto but imma drop so I ain’t looking forward to that 🙁

8. What would you change about the league approaching 1 year
RC-Less trolling. It's gotten a bit ridiculous at times with several trades going up then being voided/taken down because of shadiness. That said, I get that trolling is a hallmark of this league. Fair enough
Sargo-Not much. The league is what it is at this point.
John-Bring back a frenzy of some kind....need RCs!
Game-HHHHMMMMM there’s nothing really to change the league is the best around and has the best gms ..well had till some got busy but bbs is a drug they’ll be back ...Harold 😍😍🥰🥰

9. Who is your fav player on file, why
RC-Mikal Bridges. He is my true beautiful son. Two way beast. 3rd League All BBS in his first full starting season. I hope he can carry us to CY glory.
Sargo-I’ll just stick with someone on my roster because I’m lazy and writing this on my phone..Robert Williams. A big who blocks, boards and very low turnovers! Fun!
John-Patrick Patterson. He is elite and about to knock the Cavs out round one. P squared!!!
Game-My fav player is def Giannis,he is just a force and a generational bbs player who will always have value no matter what.

RC-Follow baseball, huge Star Wars nerd, very into politics. You know. Basic Shit

Game-Well outside the sim league and besides real life stuff,which we all do and fbb is our secret addiction.I enjoy talking to my internet friends on group chat about sports and random stupid shit.
