reminds me of the 90's Braves, have great pitchers but refuse to put any bats on the team Although they had one of the best 3rd Basemen in the last 50 years. Klesko and McGriff were pretty good. Kenny Lofton was there for a bit. A young Andrew Jones. Not elite power teams but it wasnt depleted of great hitters. Besides chipper, the brought in old guy and let younger guys walk in FA... they had a budget, and refused to spend for a championship

winning means nothing to you? I mean DeGrom is easily the best pitcher and he won a cy young with like a 9-10 record lol

You can hit 5 home runs and make the most out of every plate appearance but if no one gets on base and your pitching gives up 6 runs you lose the game

Many people think that history is a dull subject. Dull? Is it "dull" that Babe Ruth once got bitten on the forehead by an ant, and at first it didn't seem like anything, but then the bite got worse and worse, so he went to a doctor in town, and the secretary told him to wait, so he sat down and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, and then finally he got to see the doctor, and the doctor put some salve on it? You call that dull?

The great bambino would probably hit 900 home runs in today’s parks Really have most of you not ever read his bios lol. His average Homerun was very short. In fact Jimmie Fox if the parks had the same dimensions as when Babe played would have hit over 70 Homeruns in his too year.

The average fastball for all of the roughly 75 or so starting pitchers from, say, 1927 would be around 80–86 mph.
