All I'm saying is the Nuggets as currently constructed aren't built to make up for Garlands rebounding. It doesn't mean you can't play him. Just means you have to be more specific about how you build the team. Just not sure where you make it up with a guy like garland. It’s easy to look at 30 ppg and think it’s amazing, but the %s aren’t special, and it’s behind guys like Luka, Suggs, Cade, Wagner, fultz, Poole, kyrie (sucks too but a way better scorer, brogdon, sga, nunn, trae. I’m sure there are others. This is not a league where garland can be a plus at pg Personally, I think Garland would be fine where I have Hagans. I think ultimately that's his best spot. As a starter, it can be done but you really need the rest of the team to be plus rebounding. Obviously not saying it's easy but it can be done. Just takes more. |

I don't see his value as a backup because ideally you'd want to backup a wing @ PG and get the extra rebounding advantage that affords. |
