I was a walking disaster area of partying both decades, and had more fun in my 30's I have more fun in my 30's for a couple different reasons but man it hurts a lot more. the hurt gets worse |

Quite frankly, I think there are some rare situations where you go out and "party". Bachelor parties, travelling to a place that's not home, concerts and sporting events, etc. And I am not qualifying after work drinks or the occasional sports game beers or items like that. There is obviously a minority who just likes to party because they are wildly social.
95% of the time though it is with the end goal of trying to get laid.

Honestly i enjoyed my 20s and my 30s thus far. Neither is better. I just go about life differently. Still love living.

Rules as you grow older:
1. Light beer is always your friend.
2. There is nothing good happening after midnight especially if you are in a relationship.
3. Don't try to make friends with women at all if you're in a relationship. Don't try to have platonic relationships with women in relationships or who are married if you're single. (The exception here is if you are friends with their S/O)
4. Don't get in fights with people in bars over petty issues. Always try to de-escalate the situation or walk away.
5. Watch out for divorcees, especially if you have never been married.

Think I’ve had more 20+ drink days since mid-May than in any 3-4 month stretch ever, but it died down and good lord hopefully it doesn’t start again. We had a ton of fun once we moved back to nyc but it destroyed me physically
