Not sure why a late 20's would be the 2nd overall pick especially for a rebuilding team. Don't believe that was the argument anyone made. Reading comprehension is hard.

Not sure how Dan's comment equates to a bust. He just said he is old.

I guess the implication was that you didn't like him and you'd rather not have him I guess the implication was that you didn't like him and you'd rather not have him I am not wild about how we have hiked the ages of the average guy by 4 or 5 years. It dilutes the value of these drafts when we have guys coming into the league at the same age as some players on the end of their first max. The difference between a 19 and 27 year old rookie is their value after their rookie contracts. 23 year old players tend to carry a lot more value than 31 year olds. If I am trying to build a strong team of veterans it is quite hard to pawn off guys who are in the 28 - 30 year old range as a rebuilding package. I'm not seeing the issue.

Chris you keep quoting things irrelevant to your original comment of a bust. Stop.

If you wanna trade Wanzer right now for more picks or a younger player the value is there. Some GM's have already tried lowballing based off of the age. Tricky situation here. I think I am just going to let him shoot 100 times a night and see what the hell happens.

It's kinda like you're changing the entire game out from under rebuilding teams the past year or two and that will fuck the entire process up. Do as you wish but I find it hard to believe you will be able to get proper value for that guy if you deal him right now. Not many teams can make that deal or want to make that deal.

the #2 pick is supposed to be a best case scenario when you're going for youth/picks, not something you flip for youth/picks.

Luckily he is on Pigs roster and he can just compete with him. I'd be pissed if he was my first pick when I was trying to tank for two more years.

Harrison Mix SG 14 32.9 24.7 5.6 2.6 1.4 0.4 1.9 .457 .821 .418
No Wagner, no Simmons, no Ayton stealing shots.
Should be an exciting year for Mix.

No one will properly give you the right value/youth. No one in the league is making that trade right now.

No one in the league is making that trade right now. `but if the point of rebuilding is to draft/acquire good players. you can be happy to have a very good player making under 3 million and continue to build. id much rather have a stud rookie then a guy im going to be afraid to max in 4 yrs

To me this is like having success with a low salary QB in the NFL. Having an elite type PG at around 3 million a year gives you a 4 year window to go for it.
