So I have this weird Hinge predicament here; your thoughts:
So I am on Hinge and I get this match with a woman. Try to small talk and I get a response somewhere along the line of "Hey, I only matched with you because I think you would be a good fit with my friend ______ and here is her cell phone number _________."
I find this to be really bizarre. Giving out your friends full name and phone number to strangers? I immediately feel like I am being catfished so I delete the shit. With that said though, the girl's instagram is attached so it is verified account to some degree. I look through the photos and I realize the girl she is mentioning is someone I talked to about 15 months ago when I broke up with my ex at that time. We exchanged cell phone numbers and for whatever reason nothing ever came through with it because I was kind of like "Eh, whatever".
So today, the girl in question pops on and matches with me. I am like what the fuck is going on. So I wrote to her and said pretty much what I just told you guys essentially with a "hey forgive me for last time if you remember but if you want to go out heres my number." Already did all the dumb dating shit with her in the past so I felt like I just wanted to skip that step altogether.
I am confused, intrigued, impressed......all of the above?
For what its worth the girl does exist IRL I have seen her in person.
So what do you think.
-This was deliberately set up in order to get my attention?
-This is a straight coincidence?
-I am being catfished by one or both of these people.
-A combination of the above

More or less because we would be down a GM if that happened and we would have to go harvest GM's from a defunct FBB Forum.

Seriously though, this was definitely deliberate. Her friend saw you. The friend has seen pictures of you before. She sent to the girl in question. She told her to give you her number. She got on hinge again to find you or was already on there and made sure to match with you.

I got catfish As prank in eighth grade.
I was on the football teams are some chubby girl on the cheerleading squad thought that I was hers and I wasn’t really about it so I turned her down. I got added by this like really attractive looking person on my space talk to her for like two or three Weeks and it turns out it was the cheerleader girl with a fake profile and they had me meet her at the mall and they were on like the second level like laughing at me walking around trying to meet this chick with my friends
