you make a few "good" players at the top of the draft and thats debatable. But the rest of the draft you completely ignore it. Picks are basically worthless now. You put no effort into the draft as a whole. You think you can make a few players at the top and then just ignore the rest. There have been barely any starters to come from these drafts and most guys are in FA or bench warmers. Learn to take constructive criticism without thinking you are right all the time. You refuse to change the ages of players...Why do you think there is a lack of articles and activity around here. No one is gonna go out of there way to do extra shit for old ass players that will be out the league in a season or 2. Get off your high horse and actually listen sometimes. a bunch of calvin ridleys play said Man if Calvin was actually playing this year.... maybe we'd have won one game more and be right there in the playoff hunt.  |

Maybe he wants to be traded. Maybe he really is having issues that he needs time off to deal with. Falcons will accommodate him either way. And yeah- we have our first. |

Im not combining drafts. Im making players from the drafts much better then they were in real life. This draft is a low end draft. It was horrible in real life. Still a handful of very goos players at the top and some steals. Its not unlike many other drafts over the years. fucking stupid |

If you were like "Hey Spencer, I'm really concerned about how weak these drafts are and that these players are going to be terrible", it would probably go over better than |

And the thing is- I do agree with some of the stuff you're saying. Teams like to build through the draft but it's definitely likely a team that gets bad luck in a few of these drafts could get CY'd purely through no fault of their own- not having enough talent to deal from to get talent. That's a serious concern.
That's why I thought combining the drafts could work. Or throwing in a few fake players that are really good to improve the talent levels here.

Players back in the 50s played the game way different than players do nowadays. Players nowadays are just better. If Spencer was making players exactly as they were in those days, then we'd have a SERIOUS problem. No one would be worthy of starting. It's just facts. I think he's doing the best he can given the situation. And I definitely think there are areas we could improve here that would address concerns by a few GMs that have them, no question.  |
