The issue is that he wanted to end the series after Cell Games and Jump basically chained him to his desk and told him to keep writing He ended it at frieza lol but they wanted more. Then another writer came in for dbgt. Thing was it made so much money he couldnt say no GT is dead and gone Super replaced it. Toriyama still doesn't write anymore but he gives direction |
