I could hurl the ball for only being 5'10" but I had zero ability to put it where I wanted to throwing full speed. I ended up playing 3B and CF

Ya full speed i couldnt keep in the middle either lol. I studied all the different grip styles. I read training styles from bad in the day. Guys thst threw everyday lol. I threw till i got tennis elbow constently. Normally turning over to changeups after i lost fastball velocity

I'm pretty good at serving too, they were like where did you learn how to serve and I told them I watched a video once. It explained it to me like pitching a baseball and it just clicked

Also was same hieght lol senior year. Early on i was going to be pushed to 3rd but o prefered 2nd not liking throwing across so far. Bad vision so outfield hard but i had a arm lol. Could play forst very good too and catcher except bsd knees

I was great at volleyball. Gpod at controlling where my serve ended up to better setup. I could jump very well so loved to spike it

if you serve properly you're almost doing the same followthrough as a pitcher

you hit the ball at the top of the arc with your racket

I loved playing wiffle ball and would try to get friends together to poay 9 innings lol. I once pitched 6 innings lol mostly throwing just hard. Till arm started hurting lol. I lost count over 200 pitches lol. Even did 8 warmup between innings

I never played Volleyball and walked onto the team as a junior because I stopped playing lacrosse. Made it on pure athletic ability

It's definitely easier if you are tall and athletic

But digging and setting take a lot more technique than that. 

Casual volleyball is hella easy if you are tall and can jump, but play against people that somewhat know how to actually play and it's a different story

I would cuff the holes of the wiffle ball to make it more like a baseball lol. Also when i threw baseball i would change arm angles and could even do submarine style and underhand. I threw to hard right handed so would borrow a friends left handed glove and throw left. Cant throw hard enough left handed since i had shoulder issues since born. Fractured dislocated few times.
