Making the playoffs once every 4 seasons isn’t hard to ask. This year was a challenge in the east but you should never be in a position where you need a thin margin to escape. If you do enter a CY, you should have a dominant team. It should mean you’ve accumulated assets for 3 straight seasons at the expense of winning. CY is the best part of BBs imo. It aligns incentives the right way. If it didn’t exist, 5-6 teams would try 5+ season long tanks as a strategy. Happens in other leagues I’ll probably get CY’d at this rate in two seasons but I fully agree. Keeps things fresh and interesting. Too many leagues don’t do that. And heck I still have a chance to make it out of CY. |
