central is roughest division in history of sports. I had cloud. Cavs r goat. Galo had a lot of dominance, play never rebuilds. Pig had some good to great teams . Pacers and bucks usually over 500 and we upgraded Percy to dbw lmao history of sports AL east? Idk ! |

Making the playoffs once every 4 seasons isn’t hard to ask. This year was a challenge in the east but you should never be in a position where you need a thin margin to escape. If you do enter a CY, you should have a dominant team. It should mean you’ve accumulated assets for 3 straight seasons at the expense of winning. CY is the best part of BBs imo. It aligns incentives the right way. If it didn’t exist, 5-6 teams would try 5+ season long tanks as a strategy. Happens in other leagues Do those teams that attempt a 6 season tank end up being truly dominant though? Be honest. I haven't seen it. When I CY was 1st introduced to me in a sim league, I didn't see the point for it because the guys that lost for that long just sucked regardless of the number of lottery picks they collected. |

Eww. Rather they keep their teams over this Just throwing that out there. If we're eliminating CY totally then fine but if we're keeping a version of CY alive then there has to be some sort of "punishment" for missing out. you would have to disincentivize hoarding picks, so your rookie comes in on a max deal, or if you miss playoffs 4 straight and have your pick, its forfeit |

I think it will balance itself out. The entire East is trying to win right now. Keeping active GMs is more important. i've been tryna unload talent since the offseason I think this is due to few teams having legitimate pieces for Clyde and Swails. You should be working with Pig for Clyde |

Whatever I'll have to pay more attention to trying to get more well rounded guys next time I guess, I did succeed at getting better rebounding which was the biggest issue everyone had with my last team Its not just one thing tho. Its putting together a collaborative group. You need scorers rebounders stocks. And they need to compliment each other. Players like DSC and Jax fit with anyone. I run out of assets before I can get a 3rd guy of that caliber, which is what I seem to constantly be missing, along with better depth, which the basketball salary caps seem to make impossible for me. |
