Game got much better with 1 trade. I dont really get being passive in your CY. High correlation between being passive and not making it. to be fair, Lums didnt have the asset available that got Game braun I think you can always get better. Tanking teams trade free talent. Got to be a way to keep on making moves in your CY. |

My point was that it’s still not a great team. Marginal improvements were enough given the state of the conference.

Had to trade depth away for starters lol. Hughes isnt bad for a backup and iverson is just position less there were better leftover FAs... I picked up spain later on. But true. I needed a better defender over iverson too. A better backup d wing. Mistake grabbing up richardson. Could have used his salary but all well lol it is what it is. |

I think its really hard to balance the CY. Some years its extremely easy and others its very difficult. Overall though I think you need to really fuck up to not make a CY though. 42 wins or playoffs once in 4 years seems extremely doable. I guess it could happen once to anyone just because of extremely poor luck, but even then it seems odd to me. In mot cases the effort isnt there. |
