Got some quick responses so getting this up before TC for the boys!
1. The Hot Topic is the Hornets- What will their record be next season
Nanz - Oh my oh my. Lumz.. my guy lumz… well yeah that was a tough break there for the Hornets. Elgin leaving obviously wasn’t his fault but losing the rest of his team… man that’s rough. I think he just needs to trade the rest of his team and tank hard. I’ll say 20-62
hf - They should be all out for the tank after the way this FA went. Sad turn of events for the lumdog.
the original michael - Hornets have all of their picks. They would be better off just trading off Clyde and Walton and committing to a full rebuild. Right now they are like a 30-35 win team with day 3-5 FAs.
2. Are Cavs immediate contenders with their draft haul + Baylor?
Nanz - I still think they need to add players which they will but Baylor is so damn good LOL hard to think he alone can’t get them into the playoffs and beyond. I guess depending on TC, Jackie could bring in a nice piece and now you’re rolling.
hf - Any team that has Elgin Baylor has a chance to win it all. Congrats vedda on the amazing pickup.
the original michael - Absolutely. Steve got lucky! Apparently he’s been unlucky here lately but it looks like that is not that case now! The Cavs might be a piece away from a title run.

3. Oscar or West? Who has the better career.
Nanz - I’ll go with West. The additional camps are gonna be dynamite and probably push West to another level. I know Oscar being able to play at PG with the size will be huge but I think you have to go with the logo.
hf - I’m obligated to say Jerry.
the original michael - I’m biased because I chose Oscar. For me, I value that B rebounding and it looks like their handles are comparable. I know West gets 5 ACs and 5 RCs but what are you going to camp? His scoring might be maxed out. You really can’t go wrong with either player.

4. Draw me a player comp for West, as Oscars player comp is probably cloud.
Nanz - Ummmm i guess probably CP3? Just an incredible point guard but even better? LOL Just pick the best PG we’ve had times 2.
hf - West reminds me of Cousy, while Oscar reminds me of a better Russell Westbrook. I dont think he’s like Cloud at all.

Nanz - Draft I guess I’ll go with the Wolves.. they got West and Howell looks really nice. Plus they also added Naulls which would be pretty damn good. FA- you gotta go with the Cavs. I mean…. Elgin.. enough said.
hf - I would say us so far. Added a nice big and a complete stud in Jerry West. Hopefully we can continue to improve.

6. Who will be the biggest name traded this offseason? Eddie Mac or someone else?
Nanz - I want to say Big Sears but I Guess he stanksssss. Yeah I would say probably Eddie Mac but it doesn’t seem like there is a lot of interest out there which is tough. Not really sure I see any other superstar out there on the block
hf - I don’t see many big trades on the horizon so I’m going to say Walter Dukes.
the original michael - John is shopping Guerin so I guess I’ll go with him. He gave up a lot for him last offseason, and his numbers took a hit in the inside offense with Wilt but he’s a great player.

7. Real NBA has been absolutely crazy- Thoughts on the Nets?
Nanz - This is just hilarious lol im having a good time seeing this whole thing fall apart lol pretty nuts. To think they were a toe away from beating the Bucks and probably winning a ring to now this is too much. Also a Lakers fan so hoping Kyrie comes… what an annoying guy but I’ll take him…
hf - The nets will be the greatest franchise in history if they trade KD to the Heat.
the original michael - Fuck the Nets. It’s great. Kyrie likely ends up in LA. I would like to see KD somewhere like ATL.

8. The Knicks signed Brunson.... Is that good?
Nanz - I guess so? My pals seemed pretty happy about it so I’ll go with yes! VERY GOOD!
hf - Honestly he was balling out when I watched the Mavs in the playoffs but don’t know enough to say if it was good or bad. Always good to add good players to your team though.

Nanz -I’m just a ketchup guy. Maybe from time to time I’ll go with mayo but its rare. Just give me a dawgggggg with some ketchup and a nice cold coke and im good.
