In the first GMOTY, we had our two finalist coming out in the first two spots. And even though one brought home the Larry O’Brien, it is also true that only one can bring home the Spencer Martin GMOTY Award. So without further ado,
The very first GMOTY winner is greeme!
He edged out Play by a narrow margin of 6 points. The main difference being 5 first place votes to just 3 for Play. In third place we have Galo as he took the Magic to a top record in the East. We also had Lumley316 take home a first place vote. Thanks to all who voted and congrats fellas!

Second place- 2 RCs

Greeme - 36 points(5 first place votes)
Play - 30 points(3 first place votes)
Galo - 10 points(1 first place vote)

Greeme: Put together a really solid all around team, didnt have to move around too much, grabbed undervalued assets, made them play well. Good job putting a well rounded team
Play - Survived injuries to Hal and Buzz at various points for lengthy periods, brought in Noble for a playoff run and won 57 games
Play- Was very tactical in acquiring the right guys around Greer to be a top 3 team. At the deadline he added a stud SG to put them over and it paid off
Greeme- Had the best record in the west. Did a great job accumulating young talent and developing them. Made several trades that clicked.
