Toronto Raptors 47-12
Toronto has the best record in the entire league. This team is a huge force in the league. As a team they put up 131.6 ppg and allow 120 ppg. Very good numbers. They put up 9.9 bpg and 10.4 spg. Very good. They are being led by Twyman who is putting up 33.6 ppg and 9.8 rpg. Then they have Guy Rodgers with 30.1 ppg and 2.1 spg. They have some solid bigs too like Krebs and Felix. Krebs is putting up 2.9 bpg and 12.9 rpg. Felix is giving the Raptors 2.2 bpg. Tom Gola is looking like a nice double double big. Hitch is playing nice too. Then they have some solid depth in players like ZZ and Webb. Very good team. They can go far in the playoffs.
Orlando Magic 46-13
Second in the East right now. Another force in the league. They put up 131.9 ppg as a team and allow 118.8. Those are some good numbers. They put up 10.7 bpg and 9.2 spg. They are led by Frank with 30.2 ppg and 1.8 spg. Cloud is also nice with 29.7 ppg. Then they have three players with good shot blocking numbers; Jordon has 2 bpg, Reiter has 3 bpg and Schayes has 3 bpg. They also have some very good depth. Another very good team that can make it far in the playoffs.
Chicago Bulls 47-16
Third in the East as of now. They put up 127.7 ppg as a team and allow 114.6. Their blocks as a team is 10.6 and steals are 9.6. Solid. Hal is giving them a whooping 36.6 ppg plus 2.3 spg. Herreo is 24.1 ppg and Buzz is 24 ppg. They have shot blocking to in Stokes with 3.1 bpg and Hull has 2 bpg. Buzz is also blocking shots at 2.1 bpg. Decent bench too. Very solid team. Very good scoring with a mix of very good defence.
Miami Heat 40-17
The Heat are forth in the East with 40-17 record. The put up 127.7 ppg as a team and allow 120. The blocks are at 10.9 and steals are 9.3. Sharman leads the way with 30.5 ppg and 2 spg. Elias has 27.8 ppg and 1.7 spg. Hutchins looks nice too with 20 ppg, 11.9 rpg and 3.6 bpg. Then you have Zack with 2.3 bpg and Marcus with 2.7 bpg. Both are also rebounding very well for the Heat. Heat also have some solid scoring in other players like; Si with 12 ppg, Ed with 13.2 and Jery with 17. Very solid team.
Cleveland Cavs 41-19
Fifth in the East right now. Cavs putting up 128.5 as a team and allowing 119.8. Decent. They are putting up 12.2 bpg as a team. Thats first in the league by a wide margin. Why are they so up their in the blocks? They have Rocha with 3.7, Green with 2.4 and Bob with 2.4. They also have superstar Elgin with 33.7 ppg and 10.9 rpg with 1.5 bpg. Very good. Cohen is giving them 24.3 ppg and 1.8 spg. Rocha is also giving them 22.5 ppg. Very good team. I think they are better than their record. But their are also other elite teams in the league so who knows.
Milwaukee Bucks 37-21
Bucks are sixth in the East. They put up 127.1 ppg as a team and allow 117.8. The blocks are decent at 9.8 and the steals are 8.9. Jones is putting up 32.8 ppg and 10.7 apg with 2.4 spg. Petit looks nice to with 26.6 ppg, 14.1 rpg and 2.5 bpg. Very good. Dwight has 19.9 ppg. Fleet is giving them 2 bpg. Nice team. I think they can use another elite scorer though. They have solid depth though. Solid playoff team.
Philadelphia 76ers 33-25
Seventh in the East. Putting up 118.6 ppg as a team and allowing 115.9. Thats okay. 8.4 bpg as a team and 9.1 spg. Thats decent. They are led by superstar big Bill Russell. He is putting up 25.6 ppg, 14.4 rpg and 3.2 bpg plus 2.1 spg. Very good. Walton also good at 24.7 ppg and 2.1 spg. They also have two very good bigs in Mikan and Vern. Both putting up a double double. Win looks nice with 19.6 ppg. Very solid bench too.
Atlanta Hawks 35-32
Last in the top 8 of the East is the Hawks. As a team they put up 124 ppg and allow 120.1. The put up 8.5 bpg and 8 spg. Not really anything to be honest. Newt leads team in scoring with 28.1 ppg. Embry looks nice with 3.4 bpg and a double double. Kevin is scoring decently with 19.9 ppg. Miller has 16.7 ppg and 10 rpg. Zippy looking okay off the bench with 13.7 ppg. Decent team. Can use more scoring help though.
