Things I like and Dislike - Eastern Conference
Orlando Magic
Likes- The Reigning and Defending Champion, I like that they running it back. Be the champion till someone takes it from you. Their starting 5 is elite and could easily repeat this season.
Dislikes- Their best player, and GOAT Fake Player from this go around, Deveroux St Cloud is already 37, he could retire or die a natural death from FBB Training Camps. Their bench is probably not top tier too.
Miami Heat
Likes- Breaking News: They traded elite point guard Elias Bauer, they can now go full tank on mode. No more dead cap or a player being too good to stop the tank
Dislikes- They didn't get much value for their former franchise player and 3x Finals MVP, but thats nitpicking, they don't have any possible foundation piece to jumpstart a rebuild but thats okay, team reminds me of Knicks two seasons ago.
Philadelphia 76ers
Likes- Bill Russell is probably the best player in the league considering Wilt has the stipulations that would make it harder to win than him. They won a championship with him they could easily win another within the decade.
Dislikes- The team around him, they don't have a clear cut second star, George Mikan retiring hurts too.
Washington Wizards
Likes- Dick Groat and Bob Houbregs are decent players. They could add a few pieces and maybe reset.
Dislikes- They don't have a current clear cut goal, their players are good enough to win a few games but probably not yet to reset or make some noise in the playoffs. Probably time to rebuild?
New York Knicks
Likes- Got Big O, tanked again, got the consensus second pick of the draft, not bad. Was patient, and did not trade for a mediocre easy reset last season and got rewarded big time. Got plethora of picks still. Big O beats the Russell Westbrook allegation last season.
Dislikes- If I have to nitpick it's the Big O's handles, he average 3 topg but his team was tanking last season. TC could probably fix that. Bellamy need some camps, and lets wait for TCs before we anoint him the second coming of Shaq yet.
Boston Celtics
Likes- Ok, dont want to talk much here, but Dick Barnett, Horace Walker, and Don Kohjis are very good prospects.
Dislikes- Indeciveness, not answering PMs, overall not paying attention this go around. Could probably get CY at current rate.
Toronto Raptors
Likes- Re-signed Krebs. One of the deeper teams in the league. Stocked team, should be very good a high 50s-low 60s team next season for sure.
Dislikes- Their team looks really good, but feels like they have some missing piece they need to figure out. I dont even know what. lol. Maybe their bench except Elijah Felix feels like anti-FBB.
Chicago Bulls
Likes- Probably have the most value, player-wise as a team. They have Hal Greer, Buzz Bennett, and Maurice Stokes all looking like certified studs. Noble Herrero to provide veteran leadership and still a stud. Could win it all.
Dislikes- They don't have bench around those guys and with them falling short last season, I don't know if their team could win it all by just simply running it back(their team is good don't get me wrong), Hal Greer and Noble Herrero being expirees could prove to be a challenge next season.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Likes- After seasons of crying since they got Luka Doncic and Kawhi Leonard, they finally have their franchise player back. Elgin Baylor is easily top 3 player and could make a case for being the best. Svedda is a very good GM so I'm pretty sure he could assemble a championship team around him.
Dislikes- Their second best player is 35. Svedda has the template of getting supplemental players to his number one guys on the same age bracket before. Not a big fan of Vince Cohen and his contract too.
Milwaukee Bucks
Likes- Bob Pettit and KC Jones are very good, top 5 at their position easily, and could make case for top 3. Both on their prime of their career and signed long term. Should be good enough for 50 wins on their own.
Dislikes- Aside from Dwight Salis, I don't like the rest of the roster for a contender. Bob Pettit and KC Jones are about to be 30 too which are the time when trade value goes down, but their productions should be still good for the duration of the contracts. But if their GM nybombers3 is serious about looking to trade them, max value is now.
Atlanta Hawks
Likes- Wayne Embry supposedly has big time potential, so im assuming he still has some second gear from being good to very good. 3.5 BPG is also nice and is among the league leaders.
Dislikes- Them missing the reset last year was brutal, they're starting with a decent prospect on their tank, maybe the potential of Embry leaving or not living up to the max he'll be getting next season.
Detroit Pistons
Likes- Good Job trading up for Ray Scott, almost every GM would have done that deal 10/10, from a so-so lottery selection to possibly the 3rd best prospect in the draft.
Dislikes- I still would have prefer for them to take Wilkens last season but that's old news. I'm also lower on Adrian Smith than most. Maybe Ray Scott not going up while pumping camps on him I kinda dislike too.
Indiana Pacers
Likes- Woody Saulsberry is a very good fictional basketball player, top tier big.
Dislikes- Woody Saulsberry is a very good fictional basketball player and bad for their tank.
New Orleans Hornets
Likes- Lumley finally learn to let go, and decided to tank after losing the whole Hornets core.
Dislikes- I don't like getting Johnny Egan as the first cornerstone of the rebuild. He has some veterans on his team he needs to dispose before sim 1.
