Looking like the easy choice if we're going to have a redraft. Beats Russell Westbrook allegations while being a Mythical Team Member and Rookie of the Year. Should win multiple MVPs with his stats. Already an elite scorer and rebounder for a PG. Things are looking good in New York.
2 Minnesota Timberwolves - Jerry West PG 6'3'' 175 22 B B+ C+ B C A
Current Ratings: 577 Jerry West PG 23 6'3'' 175 B A- B A- C A
Doesn't look as sexy as Big O but should be another superstar, if he isn't yet. I don't see him catching Big O production which is kinda interesting when Spencer had Jerry West as avatar last season instead of Big O, so the moral story is don't base picks on whoever is the logo of the Commissioner? Already an elite scorer who's only going to be better since he has what im assuming High A potential still. Better defender and less passing which is not ideal for a first option in FBB than the first pick but man A- A and B reb as a rookie looks like a tough hill to climb.
3 Boston Celtics Horace Walker SF 6'3'' 210 23 B- C C B- B C
Current Ratings: 458 Horace Walker PF 24 6'3'' 210 B- C C- B+ B+ B
Averaged 4 combine steals and blocks per game with elite rebounding and taking care of the ball with his 0.9 TOPG. Very good jump shooter as evident by his 84 % Free Throw Shooting. Looks like the correct pick too over the next few picks. Probably wouldn't be able to catch the GOATs of the drafts but hopefully he can be a little close in his prime. A very good player which probably wont have elite numerical ratings and forever under the hood.
4 Detroit Pistons - Doug Moe SF 6'5'' 215 22 B- C C B+ B- B
Current Ratings: 342 Doug Moe SF 23 6'5'' 215 B+ C C+ A- B B
Looking back I guess it's not that bad of a pick anymore. Averaged 14/10/2, he looks like a very solid role player. Very good 3rd-5th starter, who's taken over Lenny Wilkens.
5 Seattle Sonics - Lenny Wilkens PG 6'1'' 180 23 C B B B C A
Current Ratings: 575 Lenny Wilkens PG 24 6'1'' 180 C B+ B+ B C A
Easy pick, looks like Mattfaria learned his lesson about cuts before drafting. Should be a very good Point Guard in a league without not much elite traditional PGs right now. Would have been way better if they have kept the pick that got Ray Scott though, I still dont understand why you would trade down from 4 to 13. But thats a topic for another article. When FBB corrects his TOPG look out for this point guard.
6 Cleveland Cavaliers - Jackie Moreland PF 6'7'' 215 22 C+ C+ C- B- C+ A
Current Ratings: 553 Jackie Moreland C 23 6'7'' 215 C+ C+ C- B C+ A
A pick they could afford to lose, only +1 for now which is meh. Haven't played at all on his rookie season, but when you stole Elgin Baylor on free agency who cares about this draft, since everyone knows they won the offseason of that year. Especially with Al Attles looking like a very good under the hood PG, which everybody should have expected since Spencer made a former Warrior comment on his notes.
7 LA Lakers - Al Attles PG 6'0'' 175 24 B- C C+ B+ C A
Current Ratings: 566 Al Attles PG 25 6'0'' 175 B- C B- A- C A
The ratings doesn't scream very good. But his production last season for Lakers is very promising. The dude average 20.1 Points, 5.5 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.5 steals. Not bad at all. His three point shooting is probably unsaveable but he's a decent enough lead guard for a team.
8 Utah Jazz - Darrall Imhoff C 6'10'' 220 22 C C- C- B- B- A
Current Ratings: 564 Darrall Imhoff PF 23 6'10'' 220 C C- C B- B A
Looking like he'll be a servicable big man, his blocks per game could probably be better, but his rookie production screams a 10-15 year BBS Career. Can steal and block which is encouraging. A big that doesn't shoot, im also pretty high on so I really like this pick.
9 San Antonio Spurs - Ben Warley SF 6'5'' 200 24 C+ C A C C+ C
Current Ratings: 479 Ben Warley PG 25 6'5'' 200 C+ C A C+ C C
With Habes striking gold with Mike Medenhall, folks was really interested in taking another quote unquote gimmick player. Too bad he looks like he don't belong on the same caliber of the same player. Have some stocks and doesn't turn the ball over even with the -20 handles. But his points production doesn't scream anything more than a 6-8th man. Not something I like to take at this range.
10 New Jersey Nets - Willie Jones PG 6'3'' 185 24 C+ B- C- C+ C A
Current Ratings: 437 Willie Jones PG 25 6'3'' 185 C+ B+ C B C A
The tank God himself, I really dont know why Lums doesn't start him. Notes said he had low handle ratings and that prove right. Dude average 1 turnover per game over 7 minutes per game which is crazy to think of, is he a 4 topg PG or even more??? This is also interesting if his career in BBS should be converted as a shooting guard.
11 Atlanta Hawks (from Grizzlies)- George Price SF 6'6'' 205 22 B C+ C- B+ C+ B
Current Ratings: 331 George Price SF 23 6'6'' 205 B+ B C- B+ C+ B
The ratings looks good especially coming from his rookie ratings, but too bad that doesn't show the full story. Averaging 0.5 TOPG on very low minutes. He doesn't scream starter from a contender but he has long ways to go maybe he has 100 pot and I eat all of the negative things I said about him.
12 Indiana Pacers - Tony Wilcox PF 6'7'' 225 22 C C C- B B+ C
Current Ratings: 287 Tony Wilcox PF 23 6'7'' 225 C C C B+ B+ C
Another serviceable big man that doesn't shoot a lot, like I said on the first article there was no chance he busts but his ceilling might be limited, which he proved playing for Indiana as a contributor on his rookie season.
