Rex had a poor opening sim, is it all doom and gloom, or just a rough start?
jahallstar - It is pretty damn doom and gloom. They can't rebound and can't really stop anyone on defense. Alonzo Lewis at SF will not cut it. I think they should possibly try to start Furlong at SF as an in-house option to at least address their rebounding problems. Try to outscore people maybe. They then need to find a way to address PF.
autumn harold : Goodnight. Like Rex a lot and hope he comes back, but he’s pretty unengaged these days and has botched the offseason over and over again. He doesn’t have the assets or flexibility to improve, and his team is bad.
hf - Meh, don’t love his team and he doesn’t have assets to improve. Sucks for Rex
@cmart - It´s over for him, well being in the West he still has like a 5% chance of making it but he made trades before season even began for players that aren´t even that great, instead of waiting for a sim or two to see how his team sims. He didnt even break 40 last season, and I dont think his team is all that improved. Tack on the fact he still doesnt know how FBB works 15 seasons in, I´d say Ahsan is the new Memphis GM.
Beastly is also in CY, what do you think of his offseason, and is his team good enough.
jahallstar - I think he has a much better shot. They don't really have a PG, and they also kinda suck on the glass. So it won't be a slam dunk by any stretch. Hopkins was a real nice pickup and the ygot Loathe for the 6th man spot. I know they are trying to address the PG spot but as of now haven't done so.
autumn harold : No, definitely not good enough in the East. Terrible PGs and terrible depth. Pretty amazing he has a core of Barnett, Kojis, and Walker and can’t improve because he’s super tight and cheap with the marginal deals you need to make to fill out a roster. Learn your lesson mate!
hf - He missed out on Bauer. I think he’s a couple moves away but nothing major.
@cmart - His offseason was fine, I mean, he got some good players in free agency, but didnt see any trades of note to be honest. Don´t think hes in the clear just yet though, his PG absolutely sucks. He has a negative point differential and his only wins were against atrocious tanking teams. I still think hes in a better situation than Rex though and has more pieces to deal.
What did you think of Rex Trading for Ernie Beck?
jahallstar - I like Beck. He is a really solid player. He didn't solve their biggest need though. The ywould have been better off getting a big and playing Braun at SG. I hope it works out for them though.
autumn harold : Not much at all tbh. I had the guy. He’s a good option scorer. Not a star; certainly can’t be the best player on a good team.
hf - Thought Braun was plenty good at shooting guard. He needed to move those assets for a big.

Is Lasagna one of the greatest dishes ever? What’s a guilty pleasure you cannot resist if it’s being cooked?
jahallstar - I love lasagna and pasta in general. Prolly why I can stand to lose 30 lbs and my joints always hurt. I'm from Maryland though. So crab cakes and steamed shrimp get me every time.
autumn harold : I don’t rate it mate. I like a good lasagna but it’s not high on my list of Italian foods. Wouldn’t order it at a restaurant. Give me everything on this menu (https://www.xianfoods.com/#menu-section) and a cold beer on a winter’s night, my loving wife at my side wiping the snot as it pours down my face like the tears on the night I became a BBS champion.
hf - I love pizza. If there’s pizza around I’ll always have a slice. Except if it has pineapples.
@cmart - Yes, if its made properly , if not, Lasagna can be a really really shity dish. I mean, I dont have a specific dish, but my guilty pleasure is probably cheesecake, then Pizza, then any type of seafood.
How do you feel about your team right now, and do you see yourself making a major move?
jahallstar - My team is in limbo right now. I have a decent lineup but need a few of my young guys to improve before my vets decline. I was hoping for more from Shaffer and my rookie PF in TC. They both improved but not as much as I would have liked. I'm not too sure what moves are in the cards this season. McNeil has been solid for me and if I could move him for a nice SG to compliment Groat and Houbregs I probably would. Not sure if that is out there though. For the moment I am just playing Groat at SG. Would be nice if my team stayed healthy. Not looking good so far this year.
autumn harold : Nasty squad. We’ve got it all and we do it all. Need to get Jim Paxson from Broph though.
hf - I think my team is set for this year. No major moves necessary as well have over 30M in cap while contending this year. Fun.
@cmart - I´m a 50+ win team easily, probably would have won more games last season too but between taking awhile to find the right dc, stupid little injuries in between sims, and just being in the competitive East but it is what it is. Probably not make any major moves unless someone is offering some sort of lopsided deal.
Which two teams are going to the finals this season?
jahallstar - Lets go with Bulls vs Wolves. Get some brownie points for when I need a friends trade in the future.

Since I think I have a new set of GMs, what have you been streaming and what is your fav series that I should check out to binge on my upcoming travel day from hell?
jahallstar - I have a guilty pleasure of watching Big Brother. So I'm catching up on this season when I have free time right now. I'm also watching the Challange USA to relive one of my favs from my younger years Some nights I get stuck watching girly shows while I play madden mobile until the lady falls asleep.
autumn harold : Mmm. We’re watching Black Bird right now. It’s a little clumsy but very good. Love Paul Walter Hauser. Loved Severance. Definitely watch that if you haven’t.
hf - I don’t really watch any series but I’ve watched the formula 1 series on Netflix lately.
@cmart - Tehran, Stranger Things Season 4 is what we are finishing now, but I mean we streamed a whole bunch of stuff recently... are you into Marvel stuff? I thought Ms. Marvel was good, Westworld I need to get back into. Black Bird is probably what we will watch next after finishing the other two.
We’re only a sim into the season, but are there any Rookies that are surprising you, based on when they were drafted?
jahallstar - Bill Bridges has looked very nice so far. Egan has looked very good for the Hornets despite bla ratings.
autumn harold : Donald’s guys look great. A little surprised Bellamy isn’t better. Thought he’d have big shotblocking. Havlicek looks awful but I’m confident he’s going to be amazing. I guess that’s all. May I have my RC?
