title feels more like luck vs reg season being in control. now you can rest and do it all over again odd way to look at things, playoffs you set dcs for an opponent and regular season you don't well you have a lot of control if you tank, rebuild, try to win 40 or try to win 60.
Playoffs you set DCs but is anyone that confident in a DC besides you? that youd say you can for certain beat any team? I see upsets all the times and underdog playoff runs. we also sim 3/4 games so its not like you adjust on the fly like we used to in live sim playoffs

right but you won't set a dc to take advantage of wilt in the regular season. record doesn't show us who was injured, who won games against teams with injuries, who get better with a deadline deal etc records can mislead and obv you can't guarantee a win with a better dc but it improves your odds |

Also having elgin never hurts. Eithwr way you certainly had a good team |
