alternatively it adds to his value meaning the new GM gets more value and the GM trading for him would have to give up more value (in theory) he has good offers... not sure how this invalidates my point bc he would get better offers than what he has if there was no stip |

remove potential resets, let him play 4/5, allow a balanced DC, no upgrades allowed

he's going to be hard to move either with or without the restrictions. Without the restriction you would have to give up your entire roster for him and with restrictions is self explanatory. if someone as experienced as john made some missteps building around Wilt a new GM has no chance
