Time for the West!
Dallas Mavericks

Buzz Bennett SF 30 6'3'' 200 B A- A- A+ A- C
Hetzel is cute for a mid 1st. Could be a solid guy with camps and little more development. Buzz's drop in outside is a little concerning considering he was already having difficulty at the line, but he's obviously still a stud. Everyone else for the Mavs had a rough go at it. This team needs to pull the plug in my opinion and get value for Buzz this year.
Denver Nuggets
Bill Russell C 31 6'10'' 215 A- C B+ A A+ B
Bill Russell C 31 6'10'' 215 A- C A- A A+ C
Jon McGlocklin SF 22 6'5'' 205 B+ C C- B C C
Jon McGlocklin SF 22 6'5'' 205 A- C C- B+ C+ B
Bill went up kind of. McGlocklin popped off in TC, not sure how good he will be, but that's a great jump for Denver. This already has the makings of a middling Royal team, but hey, any team with Russell should have solid chances. Throw in some Dick Throat, and yep, you got a squad. We'll see what other moves Denver can make putting together a team around Bill.
Houston Rockets
Jim Davis C 24 6'9'' 225 B- C- C- B+ B+ A
Jim Davis C 24 6'9'' 225 B- C- C- B+ B B
George Wilson PF 23 6'8'' 225 C+ D+ C- B B A
George Wilson PF 23 6'8'' 225 C+ D+ D+ B+ B+ B
Lucas stayed the same but dropped in scouted. Rochelle also the same. Davis dropping in rebounding is very concerning when coupled with the scouted drop. You never want your big going down in rebounding, especially the youngsters. Sucks. Wilson, however, did the opposite. He did take a scouted drop, but B+ B+ is nice to see. If that's from pure TC, then it's even better. Might have a shot at being pretty good big depth. What is Houston trying to do this year though?
Minnesota Timberwolves
Kenny Sears PF 32 6'9'' 198 A- C+ B A- B+ D

Dick Van Arsdale SG 22 6'5'' 210 B+ B C A- C+ B
Sears - Ugly contract, ugly TC. You knew it was coming though. Sears should still provide some good play for Minny but moving on may be the play. I don't think the Howell scoring rating swap is ideal and he also lost some D. Still love him though. The Van Arsdales are enjoying that potential boost, both improving. Dick, however, is looking very girthy pretty much improving across the board. Fun with Dick and Tom indeed! Minny definitely took a step back moving Russell, but with good improvement all around and most of the older pieces staying the same, they should have a lot of options this year.
San Antonio Spurs
Nate Thurmond C 24 6'11'' 225 B C- C A- A A

Kevin Loughery SG 25 6'3'' 190 C+ A A B C- A
Kevin Loughery SG 25 6'3'' 190 C+ A A- B C- B
Big Nate proving his top 10 value jumping in Inside, Defense, and Rebounding. Just a beautiful player. Sutton is definitely still raw, but another big time TC for him. The potential definitely there for the young fella. Outside of those two, pretty meh TC. Everyone else took steps back, including Boozer in scoring, Wilcox in rebounding, and Newt in outside. Not happy about that. Loughery might have got better with hopefully a passing drop, but no other increases coupled with the scouted drop is disappointing. Might move him to PG. Definitely need to make some moves though, team is cluttered at guard position. Oscar stayed the same and is amazing of course.
Utah Jazz
Luke Jackson C 24 6'9'' 240 B C- D+ A- A- B
Luke Jackson C 24 6'9'' 240 B- C- D A- A- B

Vince Brewer SG 26 6'3'' 205 C A- C- A- C C
Vince Brewer SG 26 6'3'' 205 C A C- A- C D
Not a great TC in Utah, but not terrible. Luke takes a step back but nothing crazy. Charlton picking up some rebounding is cool and Brewer getting to A outside is nice as well. Charlton is looking real nice, and Brewer might still have some good play as a sixth man/rotation guy. Mendenhall basically the same, but he should be on the way out soon. Utah is in a good position to sell everything off and make a play at a top pick.
Memphis Grizzlies
Leroy Ellis C 25 6'10'' 210 C C D+ B+ A C
Leroy Ellis C 25 6'10'' 210 C+ C C- B A C
Ben Warley PG 29 6'5'' 200 C+ C A+ B+ C C
Ben Warley PG 29 6'5'' 200 C+ C A A- C C
Average TC in Memphis. Don't like the Ellis rating swap, but he's probably the same player. Warley continues to slightly improve every season, Skillz should enjoy him a lot. Some minor drops here or there for Skillz's core, like Pettit and Hamilton, but overall most guys are basically the same, which for a contending team in their prime, is all you can ask for.
Golden State Warriors
Wilt Chamberlain C 29 7'1'' 275 A- C D+ A A+ B
Wilt Chamberlain C 29 7'1'' 275 A C D+ A A+ B
Bob Cousy PG 37 6'1'' 175 A- A A- A- C C
Bob Cousy PG 37 6'1'' 175 B+ A A- A- C C
Wilt gets better. Such an unreal player with such a crippling stipulation. Cousy finally takes a step back, but overall, we know he's still great. Nothing else of note to be honest. Davis stayed the same which is great. Warriors have just been stuck in permanent regular season champion status, and I don't think it can get any better with the current makeup of the team.
Los Angeles Clippers
Tom Heinsohn PF 31 6'7'' 218 B C C A- A- D
Tom Heinsohn PF 31 6'7'' 218 B C C A A- D

Rod Thorn PG 24 6'4'' 195 C A B B+ C B
Rod Thorn PG 24 6'4'' 195 C+ A B B+ C B
A largely uninspiring TC for an uninspiring absentee greeme team. Heinsohn got a small boost, Washington went down but wasn't much to consider anyway. Gambee went up in inside and scouted and he seems like a pretty solid SF, especially with how scarce they seem to be. Rod Thorn, the fourth most valuable PG in the league, increased his inside scoring which is awesome. Potentially making that volume jump from 25 to 30 at PG is spectacular. I'd probably consider offering a guy like Willis Reed for him.
Los Angeles Lakers
Bill Bradley SF 22 6'5'' 205 B C B- B+ C+ A
Bill Bradley SF 22 6'5'' 205 B C B A- C+ A
Gary Daniels SF 25 6'5'' 200 B C+ A- A- C+ B

Bob McNeill PG 27 6'1'' 170 C- A- A- B D+ B
Bob McNeill PG 27 6'1'' 170 C A A B D+ C
I still don't understand why the Lakers drafted the next Gary Daniels, but oh well. Bradley improved in defense but has a long way to go to being anything special. Billy C was definitely the play. McNeill is a pleasant surprise though. Good increases to scoring and he put up decent numbers last season. Lakers might be able to get some solid value for him. Going to be a long tank in LA.
Phoenix Suns
Dave DeBusschere C 25 6'6'' 220 A- C- D+ A A A
Dave DeBusschere C 25 6'6'' 220 B+ C C- A A A
Tom Gola PF 32 6'6'' 205 B C B- A B+ C
Tom Gola PF 32 6'6'' 205 B C B A B C
DeBussy lost some inside but increased likey in jump shot, so I think you take that trade. Gola is starting his decline. Havligod stayed the same which is still frightening. At a glance, the Suns seem to be taking a step back as a team, but I'm probably wrong there. DeBussy and Havlicek are insane and the Suns will be one of the best teams out West. I think they need a move to win it all, though.
Portland Trail Blazers
Skip Thoren C 22 6'10'' 230 C+ D+ C- B- C+ B

Lee Shaffer SG 26 6'7'' 220 C+ A- B- B C+ B
Lee Shaffer SG 26 6'7'' 220 C+ A- B B+ C+ B
There's really not much here. Thoren had some improvements, but he's a min FA so POR is getting nothing from them, if there was anything there. Outside of that, everyone else stayed the same, which sucks for Chet Walker. Big time disappointment. Shaffer went up to B+ in defense which is cool I guess. Overall, I'd say not a good TC in Portland.
Sacramento Kings

Flynn Robinson PG 24 6'1'' 185 C B+ C+ C+ C- B
Flynn Robinson PG 24 6'1'' 185 C A- C+ B D+ B
Lot of changes in the SAC, but overall disappointing for Steve I'd imagine. Strawder and Suttner had some nice gains and could maybe be worth some investment into becoming good depth bigs. Larry Jones still looking good and went up slightly. Dick lost some girth but gained some length, I think you take that trade. Hazzard, though, is where things start to deflate. A small boost in defense is all the Kings got from Hazzard this time around. He's still young and at the PG spot, so obviously it's not time to panic, but I do think just a tad bit worrying is starting to creep up. When Flynn Robinson has a better TC than Hazzard, it's a little concerning.
Seattle SuperSonics
Rick Barry SF 21 6'7'' 205 B+ C+ B+ C+ C+ A
Rick Barry SF 21 6'7'' 205 A- B B+ B- C+ A
I initially liked Billy C a little more than Barry pre-draft. I was wrong! Rick Barry is amazing. Excellent TC and he seems like he has the juice to back up the ratings. Sonics have a stud and excellent piece to build around. Not much else going on for their squad, so the tank is definitely in full effect, but the Rickster should lock up ROY and become one of the best SFs in the league.
