I think I had my arguments fleshed out a lot better back then but to put it simply for now, I favor letting GMs do what they see fit with their teams if they are active and contributing. If this means someone attempting to lose for 6 years then so be it. It wouldn't be easy to do that anyway because they'll end up drafting or signing good players. Everyone wants to compete at some point. Waitlist was non existent at the time so we were basically rehiring the guys that got CY'd. I'd rather just let those guys keep their team.

You would have gms tanking for years pretty easy to enforce Pick forfeits/drops if teams tank too long, salary impingements, a lot of non firing solutions I just dont like firing gms and bailing them out |
