Worthy is valid in thinking Bird was harder to guard since that's his experience, but he's 1 player. he's a HoF that guarded both. think that puts him in a unique position to have a great opinion |

This is a good convo though. Habes got a freebie because I ran the offseason. Its unfortunate people think that it has to do with favoritism. I didnt think Chris needed a freebie. Charlton and Greer shouldve netted any picks he needed to get back. If his effort was high and he couldnt get those picks back I wouldve have been open to giving him a freebie. Just for clarity, I was using Habes and HF freebies as an argument to get Marty a freebie. There is absolutely no shade in my comments. I appreciate your honesty. You are always super respectful. I have no problem with anything you said. I just wanted to clarify because you are an important member of the league and you need this info to do your job better. I have no issues at all. IM open to you suggesting a team get a freebie. ANd if Chris wouldve tried this year and you wouldve said "damn, im surprised Chris didnt get a freebie" I wouldve given him one. |
