Didn't broph give Mack a D+ draft grade yes, and I stand by it shit, it wasnt even a D, it was a straight C 5 LA Clippers (from Raptors) - Mack Calvin Mack Calvin PG 6'0'' 165 21 C B- A- B C B Elite jumpshot, handles and quickness. Solid passing and creating steals. Grade: C Ehh, he has poor inside, which puts a major ceiling on what he can do. No risk of a miss here, elite jump shot, handles is great, but also kinda just ehh, not going to provide anything huge? Feel like he ends up like one of those PG’s consistently passed around for peanuts, the Al Butler type. Poor inside is just such a big hinderance to ceiling. I feel there were many better options to take if you wanted a PG, though likely none safer. Update: with the revelation that poor could be up to 45 inside, this is a pretty decent pick. Still dont think I would take him this high, rather shoot for the moon with Gilliam, but not as bad as otherwise expected. |
