to ensure you keep the guy, i typically want to make sure every year in the offer is higher than a competitive max. In that offer, Y4 is higher from MIA.
Still unlucky, because Y1 typically carries the most weight.
I would have started higher, though.

chipperYou are 24mil under the hard cap. The max start you could've offered was 21mil or so. Should've played it safe instead of depending on FBB. You could've easily traded him.
