The narrative that Kobe gets special treatment is pretty funny to me. Some GMs here literally just wanna tear me down over and over again. Its discouraging and disgusting. Explaining why I think its NOT a penalty isn't tearing you down. |

Idc about it being posted it would be the rule. Things can change and improve when they're discussed at different times. If your view on it was ya let's nuke a team instead of hey maybe this isn't the right application of a rigid rule then idk. I just don't agree, and it doesn't matter who the GM it applied to happens to be

We post rules. Someone breaks rule. We then change rule based on the GM.

if Rodgers retire, not having Davis 8mil on his roster opens up max cap. so thats a win for him. loses a free 16mil in total salary loses MLE and LLE during upcoming rebuilding seasons loses 2nd round picks that he never makes anyway. |

I do agree somewhat with play tho. Full penalty should not have been applied, but maybe something more like maybe lose birds on all current players? IDK

Taking away the best player is bonkers for something like this, but there’s zero reason the 1sts should’ve stayed

It was a mistake by Braz- he used it in the 2049 Finals and Braz wrote 2050 in the tracker thread which Spence was looking at. So 2050, 2051, this is the 3rd year of 2052 so it's allowed to be used since it's once every 3 seasons. |

So yeah- with him not healing Rodgers and losing 2 winnable games without him, that should be the end of this discussion. Davis is gone, Kobe didn't get to heal Rodgers until game 4, and he lost his MLEs, LLEs, and 2nds.
