THANK YOU FOR TAKING TIME TO ANSWER SOME QUESTIONS…HOPE THE FAMILY WELL… LETS GET STARTED HERE
JUST WANT TO SAY I THINK ITS CRAZY HOW YOU SIM FOR US BUT DONT GM.. HARD TO SEE WHY YOU DO IT, LOL BUT IM SURE I SPEAK FOR EVERYONE WHEN I SAY THANK YOU.. SO MY QUESTION IS WHY DO YOU DO IT? WHERES YOUR ENJOYMENT?
I enjoy multiple aspects of the league. I enjoy the draft files. I like recreating history in our own way. I like the memories of former players. I also like the intrigue of it. I enjoy the activity. I think its fun to see so much chaos and posting and trading in something I created. I enjoy the people. I think we have a great community which is why I get even more frustrated when that community is toxic. Really no reason for it. I don't think Ill ever be a GM in an FBB league again. Its just never as enjoyable to me as simming.
WHATS THE LEAST ENJOYABLE PART OF SIMMING?
Free agency isn't ideal, especially when certain GMs are offering MLEs to MAX players... but easily the least enjoyable part is when people are toxic. I understand not liking a trade or criticizing what a team is doing. That is part of leagues like this. But some GMs only have negative things to say. At some point those GMs just get drowned out by their negativity. When I need to "mute" a Gm because I'm not seeing any beneficial data it makes me kinda sad.
HAS ANYTHING EVER HAPPENED (AND WHAT WAS IT) WHERE YOU JUST SAID “MAN FUCK THIS” AND WANTED TO JUST HAND THE FILE OVER TO SOMEONE ELSE AND BE DONE WITH IT?
I react like this all the time. I tend to just give it a couple hours but ya, definitely. GMs tend to get enraged at this free activity. And its funny cause the guys that get the most angry and the most personal are the same guys that never donate. And Ill be honest, I don't care if you don't donate. But if you don't donate and you constantly bitch, I have an issue with that. Its free. I think besides the frustrating part it is also just the time versus reward. I'm busy. Ive been taking 3 units a semester. I work 49 hours a week. I have another side job I work 25 hours a month. Then this. This is more for enjoyment then pay, but it'll also be the first to go.
RECENTLY A COUPLE GUYS GOT FIRED.. ARE YOU STILL GOOD WITH THE DECISION YOU MADE? AND BESIDES THE PERSONAL SHOTS.. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT WOULD CAUSE YOU TO FIRE SOMEONE?
I don't like firing people. I genuinely like everyone here and I wouldn't invite them if I didn't like them. Having said that, people change. People become unbearable. I tried to mend things and it was irreconcilable in my view. Do I have regret? No. My only regret was asking Steve back after he quit. It would've been was less contentious. As for why would I fire someone else, I think it would only be personal insults. I just don't think there is a place for it.
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT SOME GMS STATING THAT YOU CAN BE INCONSISTENT WITH HOW YOU HANDLE SITUATIONS.. AND WOULD YOU HAVE TREATED THE MIAMI SITUATION HAD IT NOT BEEN KOBE?
I think every situation is different, so while I do like having baseline guidelines some penalties should be harsher, and others should be lighter. Not all things are the same. Going over the HC to resign an important FA is not the same as having 2 PGs injured in a post trade deadline sim. I guess I'm still surprised people don't see that. As for if it wasn't Kobe....I don't get along with Kobe most of the time. Hes pretty negative. He complains about drafts every time he rebuilds. And I had already started a contingency plan for if he quit. So no, I wouldn't have treated it differently. And a final thought on me being unfair or inconsistent, you guys don't need to be Gm,s here. If I'm not good at this feel free to quit. If you don't like how I do it, feel free to quit. You all have free will.

WHO ARE YOUR TOP 3 GMS? BOTTOM 3?
I'm not gonna do this. I think it'll only create anger and frustration. But I will speak to a few GMs. Obviously guys that have won a huge amount of titles, Kobe, Braz, Steve, are great GMs, Eddy has really impressed me in WAS. That team was horrible. Aaron consistently puts up good teams and rebuilds out of nothing in some cases. I also really enjoy the teams Skillz puts together,
I have been disappointed in Stool and Break. They're very good in the OOTP leagues but they haven't put the time to improve here. I think most of the long tenured FBB GMs are very good, but I think guys like Andy, Royal and JAH just don't have the time to really be good here.
Overall this GM core is amazing though.
WHO WILL BE SOME OF THE STARS IN THE UPCOMING DRAFT?
Bob McAdoo should be the #1 pick and hes amazing. B+ C+ C B- B A. Listed at PF he should be a great balanced offense SF. Paul Westphal should also be a stud. B- B B+ C+ C- A. Elite scoring passing combio guard. Will his handles allow him to move to PG??? Maybe a surprise or two also.

FIRE - Trap - Overall I like our core so this is tough. Trap is pretty easily the least active GM though and I think his effort level has been low thus far. He has been solid here before though so I'm hoping he turns it around.
DRINK WITH - Aaron - I don't drink anymore so maybe a nice round of appetizers and an iced tea.
GM MY TEAM - SKillz - I like his teams. I feel like we look after the same type of players. Although he trades too much so Id need to have a system of restraint.
