I also dont think we should delay the draft because a less active Gm cant send a list. Outlawz was on the night before literally talking about notes and who he was gonna pick. And we were deep into the playoffs. Also it was like he jumped from 8 or 10, wasnt he like 5? A 5 man list isnt tough. And he was texted. IDK, seem like apples and oranges to me.

The issue is our offseason is not linear
We rely on multiple things that are supposed To happen subsequently at the same times. Bids during draft etc.
But no Gm wants to tell Spencer okay go slower, wait a day between draft and Fa 😂

If you don't have a problem with it then fine. It doesn't bother me really but it's a bit of a change from what the norm tends to be with resignings. Just trying to get more info on why it happened and how that can effect things in future seasons when playoffs are simmed faster then normal.

Id say if playoffs are less then 48 hours or if there is a personal issue that prevents you from being around I will consider allowing late resignings. This isnt a rule though this is a fluid amendment for thise that want clarification.

I also think there is a difference between
A- guy waiting to see how things play out to resign. Miss deadline
B- Gm being busy and not posting in the thread and coming back to it later. Before day 1

I will guarnatee I have allowed resignings before when the playoffs go quickly. Resignings have never been done after the finals |

change my mind on stu lantz Im not sure that youll keep Birds if remove his contract. you have to cut them with $1 salary (well doesn’t matter but easier) then add the birds once in FA |

You specifically said its in the draft rules regarding to outlawz but what happened when Kobe went over the hard cap...What did the rules say? you're not consistent and that's fine in its your league but don't try to act all high and mighty when you clearly address situations on a GM by GM basis. If I came in here and wanted to resign someone AFTER the finals, you wouldn't have allowed it. |
