Heyo! It's nice to rebuild as it forces me to hit the keys a bit and post. Since it is sunday I started to recap the draft for us.
1 . Los Angeles Lakers - George Gervin SG 6'7'' 180 21 B+ B C C+ C+ A
Grade- A+
Analysis- Well nothing like netting the top pick going into CY. Ice Man should be a start from day 1, especially if Outlawz can camp him out in scoring before TC. The man does not need the 100 pot. Good pick
2 . Golden State Warriors - Bobby Jones PF 6'9'' 210 22 B+ C C A- C+ A
Grade B+
Analysis- I think this is a fine pick value wise especially if his inside and jumper get camped. I think you also gotta go after those boards and hope he turns into a B reb player through TC. You want him to be a high stock PF but there are Mike Mendenhall comps. Although a good player I cant see stool getting the best use out of him so B+
3 . Miami Heat - Caldwell Jones C 6'11'' 217 23 C+ C C- B+ B+ B
Grade A
Analysis- This pick was brought to you by the pot boost. He gives me good big vibes with the gaurentee 85 blocks and strength. His jumper should allow him to be hopefully low scoring but efficient. His Reb wasnt mentioned but it is B+. Seems like if he has a good TC (which never would happen in Miami) he could be an instant stud big.
4 . Utah Jazz -Marvin Barnes PF 6'8'' 210 21 B- C C- B B A
Grade- N/A- Auto
Analysis- Marvin Barnes has solid base ratings and is 21 years old. I think he still needs to develop and if he does correctly can be a good player here. I would like him more if every other player was not getting pot boosted. Maybe he ends up at SF? Either way clean slate to start with for Marty
5 . Atlanta Hawks (via Trailblazers. PROCESS ATL/POR TRADE PRIOR TO PICK) - Raymond Lewis PG 6'2'' 175 21 B+ C+ C+ C+ C A
Grade- A+
Analysis- In the year of the boost you have a guy who was a late addition bc his story was so good. He has elite inside and a good jumper off the rip. He likely will be an amazing scorer with low passing. We are talking Hal Greer like potential. DBW gets that stud at 5. The East will fear this guy for years to come.

6 . Chicago Bulls - Doug Collins SG 6'6'' 180 22 B- B B- C+ C A
Grade- A
Analysis- I like Collins a lot. He was a good NBA player and I think that factors into things here. He should be a great SG to start as a player and the only negative is play already has another young SG. Collins is a good trade asset and likely could be a volume scorer in year 1 if needed to be.
7 . Milwaukee Bucks - Eric Money PG 6'0'' 170 18 B- B- B- C C A
Grade- C+
Analysis- I mean this screams boom or bust pick and in year of the pot boost I feel like you might be better off taking someone less risky and boosting them. However I can see this working out. Elite quickness at 18 with good inside and jumper. His 3 point shot is NOT money but as a PG maybe it comes around. Gotta camp his handles as well.
8 . Atlanta Hawks - Truck Robinson PF 6'7'' 225 22 B+ D+ C- B A- B
Grade A+
Analysis- I was trying to trade in for Truck but also didnt think he would be around. Other than mediocre blocking truck is everything you'd want in a big. He will be a good rebounder, defender and take care of the ball. On top of all of this he has a sick name so it makes him a prime post boost candidate. Elite inside and strength. Hit the gym big fella!
9 . Los Angeles Clippers - John Drew SF 6'6'' 205 19 B C+ C- B C+ A
Grade A
Analysis- Did Game just acquire Carr's running mate and a perfect 100 pot candidate? At 9? Drew at 19 has good inside, jumper and handles. He seems like a solid defender and has a good baseline to grow.
10 . Toronto Raptors (from Hornets) - Mike Green C 6'10'' 200 22 B- C C- B+ B- B
Grade- B
Analysis- Green is a boring pick, especially after John Drew. He is a get what ya see big man who comes in with good blocking which I love. He has solid inside, jumper, rebs and post D. If those solids turn to good and there is nothing wrong with this pick!
11 . MEM (from ORL - process right after pick) - E.C. Coleman PF 6'8'' 225 22 B C C- A- B- B
Grade- C+
Analysis- This screams to me future 6 man not starter. Eliete skill is good but if it's Post D that A- is not as special as we want. However he does have good inside, jumper and steals. Is he a 3 or a 4? He prob can't shoot 3s so all that combine hurts his grade for me.
12 . Phoenix Suns - Jim Brewer PF 6'9'' 210 22 B- D+ C- A- B B
Grade- B+
Analysis- Brewer was on my list as well. He has solid inside scoring, handles blocks steals and boards. He is a strong fella and there is some questions about his rebounding. If those boards are camped I suspect him to be a solid big.
13 . Philadelphia 76ers - Harvey Catchings C 6'9'' 218 22 C+ C D+ B+ C+ B
Grade- B
Analysis- Well Harvey is a strong big man who can block and hit his jumpers. Probably same type of pick as Mike Green. Nanz is gearing up for a playoff run so if he even becomes a third big as a rookie that is a W to me.
