well the other option for the noobs is accepting some horrible trades and getting CY'd I'd like to think I fall in the not horrible but not great to trade with... I shouldn't have given you 2 2nds....  The trouble I have with the really really awful GM’s is that there response (or non response) will be the same no matter what type of deal I offer. Sonics, Magic, and others that will rename nameless for the time being could have gotten past their CY so easily by just accepting no-brainer deals. So now I just find myself offering just outrageous one-sided deals (that benefit me) to these terrible GMs because they have declined or failed to counter so many really good trades that would have objectively helped. I’ve given up. So if the chances are like ~5% that they accept an offer, and the quality of the offer has no bearing on whether they accept, I’m going to make terrible offers. To good GMs I make good offers.
This is what you want to do?
You acknowledge some of your offers are BS because they are "deserved" and there is a possibility it might be accepted. I at times do not reply because I see the offer and immediately think "this isn't good". Why engage negotiations with someone when that is how the communication starts? So do you expect a response when you are offering outrageous one-sided deals for yourself?
I make a stop glance at the board and PMs and then onto the next task. Just vent about everyone that frustrates you, it's fine. It really is.
At different times I was skeptical of your offers and that led me to be hesitant with your offers. I figured the quick follow-up responses were to put pressure into accepting a trade favorable to you.
And my response to this quote;
"To good GMs I make good offers."
Well yeah... they'd tell you to GTFO
