The problem with butch beard is that he trys to shoot 3s still.....he would be even better with a 0 3pt rating. 352 Butch Beard PG 15 37.7 26.3 5.1 8.9 1.7 0.2 2.3 .494 .928 .400 preseason says no only has to shoot like 30% from three, know he didnt the last two years, but still. Beard is very good. Don't get me wrong. Just saying in comparison if Johnson had a 35 3pt rating or something his outside would look better on paper (not an expert but would he go to a B-?) , however he would be a worse player because then he would shoot 3's and miss most of them instead of just not shooting them. I do not think Johnson is better than Beard at all. Just from what I saw last year I want to give him a shot to see if he comes close. Keep in mind he is also untouched campwise. He might suck. I just want to see. |
