My favorite brewery is Unibroue and my favorite beer is La Fin Du Monde. you have refined tastes my friend  and TRUE THAT on the volume drinkers thing - my tolerance has stayed about the same but ive mostly had decent beer around if i wanna drink drink we also have PBR or Highlife as well  |

when(i used to) go to a new brewery I always try their lager offering or simplest beer first.
you can judge a lot about a brewers skill by their ability to make a decent simple beer, from there id try something that the bartender or folks around me was excited by.

One of the beers I was in love with for the longest time, but apparently my palette has changed. I t is also an Old Meck but called a Copper. I had just been telling a story about my brother (cop) when we walked into the brewery for the first time, and I looked to see what they had on tap, and I was... oh that's ironic and ordered it. It's a Düsseldorf-style Altbier. Charlotte being named after the German descendant British Queen Charlotte, has a lot of good local beers. |
