1. How was your TC?
Lasagna and tears of failure : Kind of sucked. None of my rookies did anything, and one even regressed.
chipper - Great, IMO! Purvis and Theus had big improvements, and Purvis in particular looks like he's going to be a really good scorer. His outside has already gone from C+ at draft time to B with some camps and the TC improvements, so hopefully the stats bear that out.
kobe : TC was good. Butch and Pat had nice TCs so I'm happy with that. Bird going from C to B defense already and getting A- boards already is huge. Should be an absolute force. Sikma went up but still needs time. Reid stayed the same basically so eh. Can't be mad I guess. Pretty good compared to most TCs I've had.
2. Minny is in their CY. What’s the next thing they need to do?

chipper - They need more depth and an improvement on Cosic.
kobe : Not sure there's much he can do at this point other than try to find good depth from the tanking teams. Wouldn't advise him to try to make a big trade since those usually don't work out for him. His roster looks like it should make it in the west but you never know with injuries and fbb randomness. He's cutting it close again.
3. Did any player’s TC stand out to you (good or bad and not your team)?
Lasagna and tears of failure : Not really, though the fact Bird went up and is on the Heat is saying something about Bird. I mean we all know Spence hates Kobe and ruins his players in TC.
chipper - Really liked Ron Brewer in the draft and was slightly ticked when he got autoed to the Warriors by Ahsan. I was looking at picking him with an upcoming pick.
kobe : Hmm not sure can't remember if anyone had a huge tc. McInnis on Blazers looks crazy I haven't looked at him in a while. Not sure how much he went up this TC though but sexy ratings.
4. Was Mychal Thompson the right choice at 3?
Lasagna and tears of failure : Not sure if it was right or wrong. 2 or 3 guys could have gone there and each was its own crapshoot.
chipper - I think it was either him or Purvis, tbh. I probably would have picked Thompson had I gotten 3 as well since bigs are an area where I am lacking.
kobe : Thompson had nice stocks in pre so yea I'd say him at 3 is fine. Just needs camps and a good TC. I think Cliff has more potential though and prob would've taken him 3.
5. Who’s the steal of the draft?
Lasagna and tears of failure : Was gonna say Boston, but his D is looking sus as fuck.
chipper - Might be a bit too early based off of ratings only without seeing them sim, but IMO it's probably either Calvin Garrett or Ron Brewer. I liked both of their notes and the ratings they had.
kobe : Calvin Garrett, went pretty high but should;ve went higher. Needs camps and another solid TC and will be a very good starting SG.
6. Obviously it’s early but is the 2059 draft looking rather weak in hindsight?
Lasagna and tears of failure : In hindsight? no looking at it from the beginning it is one of the worst classes in a while.
chipper - I think it's still too early to judge that, but I think any draft where you don't have a superstar right away like a Magic or a Bird is gonna look weak in hindsight.
kobe : 2059 draft always looked pretty weak, there weren't really any obvious elite guys. I didn't really care where ended up 1-4 in that draft since all the top players were pretty equal. There should be a few studs though, they are just taking their time.
7. Looking forward for a sec. Which player should be a better FBB fit, Kevin McHale or Kiki Vandeweghe?
Lasagna and tears of failure : Sadly Kiki. Kevin was a Monster that could drop 40 in a heartbeat but like Bird might not translate well to FBB.
chipper - I know Kiki has a 3 point shot, but McHale was a much better rebounder so I'll go with McHale.
kobe : KiKi tranlates better stats wise but if McHale's rebounding develops then he'll be better.
8. We know Magic and Bird are going to dominate from jump. Who’s next in line to be a “franchise” guy?

kobe : Might be til the 84 draft til we see another rookie as good as Bird/Magic but there are some nice players in the next few drafts. Maybe Wilkins depending on how good Spence makes him.
chipper - I mean I'm looking at the MJ draft because it's coming up, but the next player I'm going to tank for, assuming I don't get CY'd next year which is absolutely a possibility, is 'Nique.
9. Who’s winning the title?
Lasagna and tears of failure : Not Me. IDK, I checked out as soon as I lost last season in the playoffs. Not even sure I congratulated Nanz for winning. No idea who’s done what. I’ll randomly pick Sargo.
chipper - Probably the Nuggets since they're up 2-1 right now. Although for HF's sake, I would hope the Heat so he can rake in that cash.
kobe : The Miami Heat!
10. In future plans your looking forward to?
Lasagna and tears of failure : Andy, do you do this just to torture me? Is the above supposed to be “Any future plans you’re looking forward too?” if so are we talking BBS2020? Or in general? Otherwise I don’t know what “future plans” you’re stating in a questioning way that I am looking forward too.
In BBS, I’m looking forward to retiring. Donno when, but I feel it will be in the cards for me. In life, well I’m looking forward to getting my daughter tonight.
chipper - Just got back from vacation so it's work for the next few months- but I am planning on going to Walt Disney World with my wife and son (him for the first time!) second-to-last week in August, and then DragonCon with my friends is the week after.
kobe : Winning the BBS title next season.
