When I used to DL games it would always give some wild estimate to start but eventually the DL speeds would ramp up and I'd see a more reasonable ETD. Wire to your router if you haven't already

yeah wing/pg rebounding is my biggest gripe by far. almost everything else is fine, but the crazy high wing/pg rebounding has made a normally fun type of player useless

Yeah that's crazy. I don't know shit about network speed but I'm not surprised it's estimating 4hrs doesn't matter what you have for your pipe, game companies throttle their pipe to max number of people being able to download. theoretically speaking 168 GB ~=1000 Gb or 1000000 Mb some people have 1 Gb/sec with fiber, but 50-100 Mb/sec is sorta the low end of common now. If you had a 50 Mb/sec (6.25MB/sec) connection that would be 5.7 hrs to download. |
