What are your thoughts on Trey Lance? Happy they dealt him? This is a pretty nuanced questions. I dont feel like they were all on board with this pick. I just dont think they developed him as well as they could. He was raw and they needed a QB Day 1. So it never made sense. I assumed Kyle saw something in him but it just wasnt there. I mean hed have like 3 or 4 elite throws and then the other stuff was so slow and methodical. He looked overmatched. He needs reps. Hes had like less then 250 snaps in like 3 years? Thats wild. SO Im happy that the Niners have Purdy, but Im still pretty disappointed they spent all that draft capital for nothing. I like Lance as a person. Seems like a good dude. Not sure Dallas is a good spot for him tho. |

Dude needs the offence tailored to his strengths and Dallas aint that offense. I think with the right situation, he could be a franchise kind of guy (providing he can take the beating as a mobile QB) |

I dont know about Levis enough to say anything. I would have given a 3rd or 4th for Lance to see Lance tho if I was a team that needed a QB. How long do you usually spend working on sims and how much work is it? I know this varies a bit so maybe limit it to draft, FA1, regular season sim 1 and a mid-season regular season sim. FA is like 90 minutes. Sim 1 is 90 minutes. Random middle of the season sim can be 15. |
