I think it was a genius move invented by Harold lol. I plan on using it in the offseason! It's garbage. Might as well make it 4 years out for pick trading. I think it's silly to add conditions meant to result in an additional pick traded past the rules. I shouldn't be able to trade my 07 and be like oh if it's non lotto I give my 08 too. It's just circumventing rules. Should just petition Spencer to change the rule, dunno why he just allows blatant circumvention. It's not a huge deal to me or anything, I just don't like it on principle. i agree. i can trade my next 20 picks otherwise 2004 nj first rounder and if it isn't #1 then nj 2005-2024. maybe allow trading 4 years and all conditions end at the 4th year. so if i trade a lotto protected 2004 and the protection rolls over and i'm lotto 04 05 06 07 then the sides have to say what happens at that point. could be they get the 07 even if it is lotto or they get nothing or whatever but something has to be in the trade |
