The average talent level is leaps and bounds higher in 2020 than in the previous decades. Don't see how that translates to players from those older eras being as good or better than they were in the time that they played in.

As i said before, basketball is considered "soft" now because the players have to be protected. They are alot faster stronger and athletic than the past. Theres a reason we have so many ACL tears with better medicine these days compared to the past. Thinking the NBA is easier today is absurd. the nba is way easier to score in now the rules clearly have favored in the offense. If you cant see this you really are blind. MJ with no hand checking would avg 35 every season though. Its not in favor of the offense its in the favor of player safety. |

different era so different players made the league and got minutes. Stronger players were valued more in the slow tempo. Its really not hard to understand why athletic players didnt make it unless they had skill back then cus the focus was on skill not athleticism.
