What Movie/TV character are you?
(Eastern Conference)
(Eastern Conference)
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS JUST FOR FUN!! Take it for what it is!! Just some good old fashioned fun and banter. First impressions and basing a lot of this off not much! Also, sorry for any grammatical errors or spelling. Didn't proofread much.
Boston Celtics – Brian - Raymond 'Red' Reddington (The Blacklist)
- I have no idea who Raymond Red Reddington is. Never watched the Blacklist. So we’re not getting off to a good start here. Red seems like a cool guy though, with a sweet hat. The Blacklist seems to have good reviews and a lot of episodes. Seems like an underrated classy show that doesn’t get a lot of love. Similar to Brian. Very classy, nice guy, bit older than the rest of us as well. Brian hasn’t received much credit this version of BBS. Maybe the tides are changing. He could use some luck!
Miami Heat – Kobe – Hans Gruber (Die Hard)
Kobe and Hans you say? I know, weird right. Hear me out…They both seem a bit angry, always up to something, and to date, have almost capitalized on their end goal. I don’t know Kobe well, but I imagine him to be a lot like Hans. Always yelling at the sky when Skillz pulls off another trade. Kobe has yet to win a championship in this version, but he is getting close. Hans almost got away with his scheme in Die Hard, but John McClane stopped him in the end. Can Kobe overcome it all (injuries) and win it all?? Yippee ki-yay motherfucker! New Jersey Nets – Greeme – Chet “Rocket” Steadman (Rookie of the Year)
Aging BBS GM Greeme is very similar to the Rocket here. Once upon a time they had the goods, they had the stuff that drove the ladies wild. Lately, he has lost his fastball, hasn’t seen the spotlight, and missing out on all the fine ladies. Chet is due for one last hooray though, and we can expect Greeme to have success again. He is slowly building his roster back up, he can do it this version as well. New York Knicks – Skillz – Doc Brown (Back to the Future)
Skillz is always coming out with some new trade or scheme. He is always creating and inventing shit out of thin air with his players. Sometimes it works (Delroean Time Machine) sometimes it doesn’t (Brain-Wave Analyzer) but he is usually good for a hit and usually it will hit big. Ships! It’s almost like he went to the future and bought a sports almanac or something. Orlando Magic – Trap – The Driver – (Drive)
Trap hasn’t been in the league that long, but he has been making some solid moves. He is clearly building a fun young squad. He is very similar to Ryan Gosling’s character in Drive. Quiet, calm, and collected. He didn’t even care when his first trade was vetoed. Brushed it off like Gosling flipping his stunt car over or that guy getting blown out by a shotgun. Cool dude. Philedelphia Sixers – Steve – Gus (The Benchwarmers)
My pal Steve is very similar to Gus. What I know about this man is he rakes, and he rakes well in softball. Similar to his team, the benchwarmers have not had a lot of success, but like them, they’re due. Can this be the year the underdog Sixers led by Billups make a run in the playoffs similar to Gus and his rag tag group? We should find out soon! Washington Wizards – Jah – Bill Munny (Unforgiven)
Jah is very similar to Billy Munny in Unforgiven for like 75 percent of the movie. Not a risk taker, sticks to his simple life on the farm, doesn’t drink (I don’t know if this is true). The Wizards have been the same team for a while now and in every version of BBS that holds to be true. Jah needs to be the Bill Munny in the final 20 minutes of the movie. A drunk, reckless animal, out for revenge! I’m just saying give it a shot, see what happens. See if it plays.
Atlanta Hawks – Footy – Dom "Woogie" Woganowski (Theres’ Something about Mary)
Footy and Dom here just makes too much sense! Woogie loved shoes. He especially loved Mary’s heels. Footy is a guy who must love a nice pair of heels! I think Woogie liked fucking feat too but can’t confirm that. Can’t confirm if Footy like that as well. I guess we will never know! New Orleans Hornets – Pig – Shooter McGavin (Happy Gilmore)
I could have went a lot of ways here, but I think Shooter is perfect for my pal Pig. Pig loves to golf and so does Shooter. I believe they both have similar levels of cockiness too when it comes to hitting the links. I also imagine Pig coming up with a similar weird references. Let's hope no one asks him to a Sizzler anytime soon. Pig might throw out something that goes over your head, but it still lands. It plays. Good guy. That’s what you like about him. Very creative. Similar to Shooter making a trophy room in Happy's grandmas house and pissing on the ashes.
Chicago Bulls – Play/Insane - The Narrator/ Tyler Durden (Fight Club)
What a perfect comparison here! You never know who you’re talking to when it comes to the Bulls. Should I talk to insane? Should I talk to play? Am I talking to anyone? Is anyone listening to me? (SPOILERS) Turns out The Narrator and Durden were the same person! Woah! Are play and insane the same person? Who knows! Who Cares. I haven’t made a trade with the Bulls yet and I don’t know if it will ever happen! Cool/interesting guys tho. Very mysterious. lolCleveland Cavaliers – Svedda – Mr. Burns (The Simpsons)
Svedda is cold, angry, blunt and never one to NOT take a shot at someone when the opening is there or even when the opening is not there! Similar to Mr. Burns he despises everyone. I get these vibes from Svedda. It takes a lot for the man to smile. All we want to do is make him smile! Smile for me Burnsy!! Detroit Pistons – Galo – Ben Stone (Knocked up)
Galo is from Sunny California and so is Ben Stone, Seth Rogen’s character in Knocked up. I tried to think of what reminds me of Galo. Seth Rogen is it. I don’t think he smokes weed though. Galo is a great guy. Humble GM, and a BBS Vet. He has had success in BBS but not overwhelming success. Just like Ben Stone he is figuring out his life and whether or not to take the next step. I think Galo is married and I don’t think he has any kids but this is what I got! It was either that or Uncle Buck! Indiana Pacers – Sargo – Calogero (A Bronx Tale)
I know a little about Sargo and he seems like a very good guy. One of the fellas, perhaps a good fella. He might have been in sims a long time but in the BBS world he is very new. He is trying to prove himself and make a name for himself similar to that of Calogero in A Bronx Tale. Italian, Yankees fans, up and coming GM! It’s time to break away from your group Sargo and prove you’re worthy of being considered a top GM in this league! Show them what you can do. Milwaukee Bucks – Andy – David (40-year-old virgin)
This is perfect! PERFECT I SAY! Andy is David. I imagine Andy has a box full of old porn somewhere. Now it’s all on his computer but once upon a time, this would have been Andy. The man loves porn and he doesn’t care who knows it. Funny enough, the main characters name is Andy. I wonder if Andy hates Michael McDonald? Lots of Andy's flying around here. Toronto Raptors – Game – Jim (American Pie)
TBH I don’t know much about Game. Seems like a chill guy and someone you could grab a beer with. Not sure what he does or what he is like in person. But nevertheless, I am giving him Jason Biggs character in American Pie. Seems like a guy who might have settled down by now. Probably one of the first of his buddies. He is in the Big Ass thread as well, so I bet he’s fucked a couple apple pies in his day too.
