Maybe make this a new CY rule: If you’re taking over a CYd team then you get the extra year (5 years) If you’re the original owner, it’s the same rule (4 years) Idk. Every team that gets CYd essentially will trade all of their future 1sts |

I agree with this, all of the CY teams to date have completely decimated any trading assets and the incoming GM spends the first season just trying to be in a position to rebuild

Amnesty Clauses are the dumbest shit ever. We play by the same rules and there should be consequences to signing bad deals. None of us are paying these contracts with real money LOL.
Also an introduction of a rule like that would need to be given with notice, because GMs have spent a lot of assets trying to avoid the HC and plan for the future with finances/cap stuff.
