position gimmicks have been far less egregious than in older versions though. plus spence already addressed this by saying big men won't have perimiter d going forward that still means nothing...Rebounding is the biggest issue with positions. this is true. B rebounding at SG is a huge advantage that wouldn't happen if changed.

I have been consistent about a position rule from the start. zbo and juwan are extremely similar apart from rebs. if you put +16 in juwan's rebs and 8 in his strength does that make him a gimmick at SF? are bron and dirk gimmicks at SF? or toine? it seems like there should be positional rules based on where a player starts, but i don't think rebounding is the be all and end all of what makes a player gimmicky.

No issues with those type of guys. Its mostly rebounding for me. If Kevin Love comes in and hes able to play SF/SG. I would think that's BS as well.
