ideas:
1) players can play only their original position or a "higher" one. possible exceptions: (a) Cs and PFs are interchangeable; (b) SFs with C+ or worse rebounding can play SG; (c) qualifying players moved to PG under the PG rule.
2) (a) players who enter as a PF or C can't play SG and can play SF only if their rebounding is B or lower. (b) SFs with B- or higher rebounding can't play SG (maybe unless moved there since that involves a hit to their rebounding)

B- rebounding Maximum at PG/SG, if not otherwise specified in draft notes (Bron, Wade, westbrook, etc.)
85 Strength Maximum at SF?
Or you could simply publish positional rules for each draft

C+ reb cap on SG and B cap on SF unless those are their original positions

I think the previously mentioned SG rule works. Can't play anyone at SG that has B or higher rebounding without having B outside as well.

Fuck it.
Let FBB take care of it.
To play at SG, player must be listed at SG unless draft has stips.
FBB caps defensive rebounding/offensive rebounding to 60/60 at SG

What about no more position changes? Can only START players at where they were created?

Sounds limiting especially if you're injury ravaged.

Might be best to leave it as is

but there is no way a PF should be allowed to play SG

just keep it simple... if they come into the league as PF/C they can't play SG. can only play SF if rebounding is C+ or lower as a PF/C. can't move the player to SF to get the bump.

don't love the idea at all. I think it's been good as is. You can always just specify in notes.

Players can start up 1 down 1 from their position (aside from PG rule)
So Cs can start at PF/C PFs SF/PF/C SFs SG/SF/PF SGs SG/SF PGs PG/SG
No rules applied to backups
