Lebron is the root of it! Talk to me on this! It's not really that complicated. He has just always has come off as a megalomaniac who takes opportunities to hype up his image at the expense of being genuine (IE Trying to act like he is someone else by pretending to read books when he works out). This isn't a take that hasn't been mentioned about him before. Its called using his platform. The issue isn't him reading books while he works out, he has a camera on him 24/7. Wheter he wants to be this "character" or not he knows theres kids, foreigns, and every sports fan watching him so he has to carry himself in a certin manner. A elementary teacher that dresses nice and comes to work every day, and than gets off and turns the fuck up with the boys, is a poser? No, its using a damn platform because what you do will influence many. |

we have a problem with the police in the US, and it is all our fault. We have chosen to not try and get the best and brightest to put their life on the line for us, and what has happened is those that should not be police tend to be the ones willing to take the shit pay to be out there protecting us. it takes money to train, equip, and hire the ones that could and would be the best.

We have chosen to not try and get the best and brightest to put their life on the line for us, and what has happened is those that should not be police tend to be the ones willing to take the shit pay to be out there protecting us. it takes money to train, equip, and hire the ones that could and would be the best. Money, training, equipment, lie detector test, background checks, whatever you think you want to do, will not take fear out of a cop. |

Not my intent to offend anyone. But since we are down the rabbit hole..... I don't personally agree with the notion that it is acceptable to be a "character" in front of the cameras and you don't practice what you preach. This is the equivalent to a professional wrestler, media personalities and arguably many politicians. That's just me. I understand what you're saying but I think it is a fundamentally flawed concept as we try to grow generations of individuals holistically stronger and more sincere with their actions than the previous. That's not a good analogy. There's a massive difference between dressing professionally for your occupation and pretending to be someone else/enjoying activities because society perceives it in a positive way and you have the optics on you. |
