I disagree but I get it. I went to HS/First 3 years of college in CA so I grew up on In-N-Out. High af 1AM in the drive thru wanting that double-double animal and animal fries and a shake. Those were good times. Or if you're running low on cash, just a cheeseburger for $1.50, there was no better deal in fast food (I am aware that the price is higher now). But for people who didn't grow up on it, I can see why they don't like it. The meat of the burger is small and not all that great. When I first tried White Castle, I didn't come away impressed. Living in Texas however and having Whataburger, I can understand why somebody from here wouldn't be impressed with In-N-Out. Whataburger has a terrific selection and superior quality meat. It also is a higher priced burger than In-N-Out so imo not fair to compare. Idk, East Coasters love White Castle, Southerners love Bojangles, Texans love Whataburger, West Coasters love In-N-Out. It's all about what you grew up on. In n out is the best ff burger I can get in my city. By a pretty far margin too. |

I had In N Out last night and it hit the spot.
We recently got Shake Shack here and I went but came away disappointed. It was highly overpriced and the burger just wasn't good.
Five Guys I do love BUT feel like at that price point, you can get a better burger from more legit burger joints. It is on the higher end of fast food almost crossing over into the non-fast-food category.
