They have locked down a dozen of the social housing apartment compexes with no notice. The residents are not allowed to leave their apartments for two weeks- theyve got police patrolling the towers to ensure compliance These towers house the poorest members of our community (battered families, individuals with mental health issues, recent migrants) and have been sent into 'mandatory detention'. It's fucked. Melbourne is going to be ostracised from the rest of the country for a long time |

The worst bit is this second wave started because the security guards who were manning the quarantine hotels (where the returned travellers were put) started shagging the travellers and have spread it throughout the community over the past 3 weeks.
Fuckin dumb cunt premier. Why the fuck would you not redploy cops, health care works or defence forces to monitor those quarantine hotels

Reading an article today about how fever isn't a symptom in many young people who contract the virus.
In March, they were saying that 90% of people who had this had a fever as an indicator.
