7:30 AM - Gevalia coffee from the kuerig and two pieces of Heiners 35 toast with WV applebutter
11:30 AM - a fat home grown tomato with sea salt
1:30 PM = two Rolling Rock beers
2:00 PM = one more fror dessert
5:00 PM = Old Granddad 100 Bourbon on the back porch
6:30 PM = chicken and rice soup
9:00 PM = Johnnie Walker Blue before bed

I love chowder. Did it have corn in it? Tonight Sandi made us sandwiches with homemade pimento cheese salad, bacon, and fried green tomatoes on a hot toasted sourdough bun. I followed that up with a few fingers of Michter’s bourbon.

Best clam chowder I ever had was in a hotel restaurant in the town of Campbell River on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. I had a bowl for supper, another bowl for lunch the next day, and another bowl for supper again.
