Boston Celtics
Celtics Sign SG J.J. Redick for $26,480,000 over 3 years.
J.J. Redick SG 26 6'3'' 200 C+ A+ D C C- B
Key Stats: 15.6ppg 1topg in 20.6mpg 49/93/42
I feel like this is a bargain price for Redick. I thought for sure he would get more on the open market. Redick averaged 15 points in just under 21mpg. With starter minutes, I could see him averaging close to 23ppg on efficient percentages, love this deal for Boston. I think Redick and Livingston have potential to be one of the best backcourts in BBS. Boston is still very young and should be right back in the thick of things come playoff time.
New Jersey Nets
Nets Sign PF Tyrus Thomas for $65,136,069 over 7 years.
Tyrus Thomas PF 24 6'10'' 224 C+ C D+ A B+ B
Key Stats: 10.6rpg 1.3spg/2.5bpg 2.1topg
Tyrus Thomas was traded along with Chauncey Billups for David West last offseason. I still feel that was a bad deal for the Nets. Thomas did 3.8 stocks per game(1.3spg 2.5bpg) last season, along with 10.9rpg. Thomas is a very solid free throw shooter for a big but his 2.1 turnovers per game leaves a lot to be desired from him. He reminds me of a younger version of Kenyon Martin on the defensive end. I feel his contract will be a great value down the time because of his defensive potential.
Denver Nuggets
Nuggets Sign SF Dirk Nowitzki for $55,440,000 over 3 years.
Dirk Nowitzki SF 32 7'0'' 268 B A- C- B+ B C
Key Stats: 22.3ppg 9.6rpg
Grizzlies Sign PG Jamal Crawford for $126,000,000 over 6 years
Jamal Crawford PG 30 6'6'' 190 B- A B+ C D+ C
Key Stats: 28.3ppg 12.2apg 49/95/46
So far its been an amazing offseason for the Nuggets. First they landed the #1 overall pick in the BBS draft and selected Paul George. The Nuggets then proceeded to trade the #7 overall pick in the BBS draft to acquire arguably the 2nd best player in BBS history in Kevin Garnett. Now they have landed future BBS Hall of famer and two time BBS Champ Dirk Nowitzki. Dirk will come in and give them much needed firepower from the perimeter and give them an edge at SF on the boards. The Nuggets followed those 3 amazing transactions with the acquisition of another future BBS hall of famer in Jamal Crawford via trade with the Memphis Grizzlies. Crawford has been one of the better players in BBS but he has yet to add a ring to his impressive career. Could this finally be the year?
Milwaukee Bucks
Bucks Sign PF Jerome Moiso for $55,440,000 over 3 years.
Jerome Moiso PF 32 6'10'' 250 B+ C C A- A- C
Key Stats: 13.9ppg 12.6rpg
After trading for Kobe Bryant, the Bucks needed to find a front court anchor. The Moiso signing gives them a battle tested big up front. Moiso will handled the dirty work for the Bucks He averaged 13.9ppg and 12.6rpg per game last year along with 2.8 stocks per game. Moiso shot selection is suspect but he more than makes up for it on the boards. The Bucks still got a lot of work to do for this team to turn into contender but this signing should help them put it together.
Seattle Supersonics
Super Sonics Sign PG William Avery for $4,500,000 over one year.
William Avery PG 31 6'2'' 180 C+ A- B+ B+ D+ C
Key Stats: turnover whore
Sonics are only a winner because they stole my tanking PG from me.
Memphis Grizzlies
Grizzlies Sign SG Adam Morrison for $24,000,000 over 4 years.
Adam Morrison SG 26 6'8'' 205 B- A C C- C- B
Key Stats: never been camped!
Love the risk here. Morrison is uncamped and already have elite offensive ratings. Great risk by the tanking Grizzlies.. Very curious to see how Morrison will perform in a more expanded role on offense.

Phoenix Suns
2010 181 Suns Sign PF LaMarcus Aldridge for $60,000,000 over 5 years.
LaMarcus Aldridge PF 25 6'11'' 266 B C+ C- B B- B
Key Stats: 12.9ppg on 43% from the Field 10rpg
2010 181 Suns Sign SF Thabo Sefolosha for $60,000,000 over 5 years.
Thabo Sefolosha SF 26 6'6'' 221 C+ A- C+ A- C+ C
Key Stats: 35.2mpg 13ppg 49/86/46
Where do I fucking start. Did LeMarcus Aldridge even get any other offers besides MLEs? This is one of the worst FA signings I have seen. Sixty million dollars over 5 years for LMA? Crazy! Aldridge doesn't bring much to the table in regards to playing in the post. He has age on his side but how much can he improve over the next few seasons to even consider this contract worth it? Terrible signing IMO. The Suns are far away from competing, I just don't get why they would waste this type of money on a fringe starter at PF. I love Thabo Sefolosha, I consider maxing him out before I came to my senses. Thabo received the same exact contract as Aldridge and I'm not sure if he will ever live up to that contract as well. Thabo is a great #4 or #5 starter, he has a great all around game and is very efficient on the offensive end. I just can't seem to come to terms with paying my 4th or 5th best player close to max money. I will probably change my mind and try to trade for Thabo sometime in the future but as of now his contract is mehhh. The only good thing about these contracts is they don't escalate season to season.
Miami Heat
Heat Sign C Ben Wallace for $50,444,279 over 3 years.
Ben Wallace C 36 6'9'' 259 C+ F+ F A A- D
Key Stats: 36 years old 12.2rpg 3bpg
In my unpublished BBS FA Preview article(Spence for some reason simmed in the morning), I predicted Ben Wallace signing with the Miami Heat. I didn't think Kobe would overpay like he did. Kobe needed to go after a young guy like Tyrus Thomas that fit his current team makeup. At this point, I don't even consider Miami a contender and they are a fringe playoff team. There was no reason to commit this type of money to Ben Wallace this season. I feel Wallace will only play this season and then hang it up. The Heat are filled young talent and Wallace does not fit their timeline. Waste of cap space IMO.
Sacramento Kings
Kings Sign PF Martynas Andriuskevicius for $36,000,000 over 3 years.
Martynas Andriuskevicius PF 24 7'3'' 248 B C C- C+ B+ C
Key Stats: 20.2ppg 11.6rpg .8topg
This really sucks for Ashes. Apparently Ashes's bid was inputted incorrectly and he paid an estimated 8 million more per season for that signing. Hopefully Spencer steps in and fixes this situation. It sucks because Ashes lost out on about 8 million in cap space that could've went to other guys during Day 1. Tough break.
Marty on the other hand is fresh off of an All BBS Third Team appearance with averages of 20.6ppg and 11.6rpg along with efficient shooting percentages at the power forward spot. Marty is probably worth the cash but GM's tend to shy away from players like him.
Indiana Pacers
No signings
It seems like the Pacers have had huge amounts of cap space over the past 4 seasons or so. Once again they strike out on the big name guys. Sargo is still in a great position but I'm very shocked that Sargo didn't go harder after Tyrus Thomas. It was probably because of Tyrus potential turnover issues. If the Pacers stand pat, they will have one more offseason with max cap space before Serge Ibaka and Mike Beasley become potential free agents.
Boston Celtics
Celtics Sign SG J.J. Redick for $26,480,000 over 3 years.
