yeah it's a dns issue, the new ip is slowly replicating across the internet Explain this to me like i am a 2 year old dns servers translate domain names "google.com" into ip's. All internet traffic of websites is done via TCP/IP which is a protocol, and how the protocol works is by using network IP addresses. no one wants to type "92.249.45.45/divstand.htm" so dns servers allow you to type "https://bballsim2020.com/divstand.htm" and it resolves to "92.249.45.45" once it gets to that ip then the lower level domains comes into play which is the "divstand.htm" part

Oops, looks like the page is lost. This is not a fault, just an accident that was not intentional.

Oops, looks like the page is lost. This is not a fault, just an accident that was not intentional. looks like they are doing some sort of filtering on the IP address so they must be using nat, aka it's ont a 1 to 1 site to ip address

odd, now try ipconfig /dnsflush again
|
|
|
Post by Lasagna and tears of failure on May 12, 2020 12:42:58 GMT -8
if the flush works you should get
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

I'll mess with it more later it will slowly resolve itself. Spence did the site name with the web host which is a small fish in a big sea, the DNS entry will take a while to replicate up the food chain
