you guys read the witcher books? they aren't bad. They are actually really, really good. I really dig his style. Well I've only read the short stories tbh yeah im on book 2. actually helped to watch the show first and get some background since he just gets right into the action in the books. |

I'm pretty sure this is GRRM's plan (though it'll never come to fruition). He gave the HBO writers an idea to playtest it with the audience so now he can do something different in the books and market it as "Look it's different from the show! See the true ending!!" |

They are actually really, really good. I really dig his style. Well I've only read the short stories tbh yeah im on book 2. actually helped to watch the show first and get some background since he just gets right into the action in the books. Playing the games and then reading the short stories was dope. Then seeing how the show pretty much sticks to the short stories was awesome. |

Hopefully, hes also stubborn as fuck. He doesn't want anyone to finish them if he dies. I'm a big Wheel of Time Fan(another fantasy series). The author died but had a solid plan in place for someone to finish up the books. Yeah and Sanderson is doing a fantastic job with WoT Yeah, I didn't mind Sanderson at all. Very curious to how this Amazon series with Sony is gonna play out. Can't wait for the Lord of the Rings series on Amazon as well. |
