If a player has, say, 83 in a category, does Spence give the same +3 (to 86 in this case), or does he stop at 85? 99.7% sure 85 Oh i would never AC someone on the border (+5) if that were the case.

depends on if they have any real potential left. usually still increase, but no explosions. Is it random or does it depend on their “scouted potential”? They have a real potential. You just can't see it. It is usually fairly accurate after a tc. In the creation draft who knows . Rookies before tc... Who knows.

Is it random or does it depend on their “scouted potential”? it's all just a distribution of odds, where young age and high real potential increase your odds of having a great TC. Even so, there are still situations where 20 year olds with 100 potential going -1 or -2 in TC. I have seen random 27 year olds go +4 or +5 before. Sometimes it's just luck

Usually high potential means better TCS though. There are outliers.

Usually it is fairly accurate but not always.

It is a proxy for real potential, but is only loosely correlated to real potential. Designed (I presume) to mimic how open-ended "upside" is in the NBA. Hakeem and MJ have "B" scouted potential but i would guess their real potential is closer to D since they are old as fuck.

Like swift on my team... He is 20 with A scouted potential. However I'm not convinced that is real. I'm hopeful but don't expect him to blow up.

One thing everyone should know is that Jamal Mashburn has 100 real potential I find transparency to be the best policy and just decided I should fill-in the group on this development.
